Disney Dream come True 8/28/2011

and one ?? now that im PIF what is the next thing i have to do ?? for this cruise ?? if anyone can help i appricate this :wizard:

Hi All,
Hoping we're not too late to join the party! :dance3:
We've had to change the dates of this cruise so much due to work and school but we are finally confirmed and we are in a 5b on deck 8.
This will be our fifth Disney Cruise and we'd love to join in with the FE. We are Karen, DH Andy, Sophie (17) and Eleanor (12).
Looking forward to meeting you all!

It's never to late to join a party!! Welcome!

OK so how does a Disney store meet followed by lunch at the hard rock cafe sound to all ?? we can try to work to see what date Debbie is going there to pull this together . how does this sound ??

It sounds absolutely marvelous to me!! How kind of all of you to try to do this when I can be there too!:grouphug::flower3:

Welcome aboard!

I'm all for it if it falls on a weekend. I work & DD will be in camp until just before our cruise so we wouldn't be available on a weekday.

I'll make sure to plan on NOT driving on that day since Times Square is a zoo. I'm sure my daughter will want to visit all sorts of places that day :sad2:. I'll see if Hard Rock takes reservations once we decide on a date. I walked past there last Thursday & it was a madhouse. The same with Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory.

Ok, Weekend it is! How does Saturday the 30th sound??

Sounds good to us. We live on Long Island so it's not a problem to get the LIRR to the city.

:yay::dance3:

Is anyone here planning on running the 5k on castaway cay? I was thinking about doing it :) But was wondering how early would they do it?

Yeah, I just started a gym and I realized that so far I cannot even WALK 5 kilometers!! I will be able to by then, but there is zero chance that I could run it. I will walk it if I have company!:dance3: I think that they start at 9 am, according to the last navigator that I saw online

and one ?? now that im PIF what is the next thing i have to do ?? for this cruise ?? if anyone can help i appricate this :wizard:

My suggestion would be to log in on disneycruiseline.com and input your reservation number on the tab which says 'get reservation'. Then I would go to my cruise plans and book anything you want like excursions, spa or Palo/Remy dining. Then I would go through the steps for on line check in. I have already completed check in, it is one less thing to worry about:cool2:

After all, you are ahead of the game.... I still haven't figured out how I am going to make my FE!:laughing:

Hi everyone i got my happy E-mail today that im PIF So what is better then to Dance on a beatiful Tuesday afternoon :banana::cool1::cool1::woohoo::woohoo: :wizard:

Congrats on PIF!!!

It's never to late to join a party!!

Weekend of the 30th is great for me!

I'll be recycling our FE from 2 yrs ago lol

Thanks to everyone for the lovely welcomes - look forward to meeting you all. Have messaged Jeff and Karin with our cabin number for the FE.
Just to check as we may include something edible - no-one has any allergies to nuts do they? Want to be safe!
Going to PIF tomorrow and then start booking things - hope Palo is still available! :thumbsup2

for the time challenged (or creatively challenged) there are folks on ebay who sell real nice FEs...

Yeah, and I just may resort to it, but I am also a sentimental sort with a great sense of humor and I think that homemade but slightly sloppy is "charming" :lmao:

are we trying to mention all the imperfection on mine :lmao: just kidding but true i made mine but it took many steps i would not suggest unless you are great with a sewing machine . but i will say by looking on the FE thread i saw someone make a FE out of those disney pencil pouches ?? quick thought

thanks everyone for the PIF i so cannot believe it is PIF . well i guess the next thing is to have a magical trip with many Dis friends :wizard::cloud9:

is anyone thinking of re-booking on board. We are trying to decide on the Dream again or 7 days on the Magic for next April...if we go on the dream, we go with friends, but personally, I do not like Nassau and would like something different. I'm more apt to go with the magic, but my friends would be disappointed. We would get 3 more days for the same price! And st. maarten and st. john!

I'll be rebooking onboard but it will be for 1 of the NYC cruises next August. I actually already have a ressie for that cruise. I'm just rebooking onboard to reap the benefits. I would have a total of $475 OBC per stateroom if I rebook onboard :cool1:. Plus the 10% doesn't hurt.

Yippee - got Palo for exactly when I wanted - early dinner on Pirate Night!
The girls are planning to 'eat their way around the Dream' and then we can meet up for the party and desert buffet.
All checked in and got an arrival time of 11am. Can't believe it's so close now!!!!

We have two as sometimes DH can't come with us and we didn't want an empty slot on the FE - our 'girls only' one was made very quickly with canvas bags from Micheal's - sown together using the handles and then decorated. It turned out great! I'll try and post a picture if I can find one later.

I will most likely be rebooking for a dummy date, hoping for a meditteranean in 2014!

We will be rebooking too. Either a 7 night Caribbean on the Fantasy, or 2 cruises on the Dream in late August again.

We are doing the same... for a Canadian cruise out of NY...

And will prob book a dummy as well.

Well if we get the cruise bug then i will take a bite out of rolling the dice NYC , fantasy , or a return to the Dream or dummy one . I guess like this trip im undecided . LMAO:lmao:

Ok guys here i go
