Disney Dream come True 8/28/2011

I recruited another family to join us. A df, her dh and their 3 dd (14, 14 and 9).

Hopefully I'll get some more rounded up.

Reading this I have to try and be creative with my "gifts". The people on this board are really creative and set the bar high.

This is the first half of our back to back cruise ( we are doing one this year in august as well - I've seen Dizneat on my board there too) ....

I really wanted to do a seven day cruise - but we also wanted to do the Dream - so now everyone is happy!!!!

Talk about setting the bar high - I'm gonna have to read a book, hit the internet, take a class or something - just to keep up on the creativity on this board....

Now that everyone has got my creative juices following . Now I have 2 ?? for all here they are
1. if anyone is intrested in doing a FE please post me if you are intrested
I will need room # if you have it and how many people and there ages

2. I love to do shirts for all my trips if anyone is intrested in having matching shirts I do not mind making them but i would ask to just cover cost of t-shirt and the iron on sheet .

HI EVERYONE!!!! We are 3x Disney Cruise veterans once as a couple and twice with our older child. We have not booked as of yet we leave for Disney World in 2 weeks and plan on booking as soon as we get home we are hoping for a bounce back maybe while there first . Its a big secret to our soon to be 8 year old as she will be 9 next year on AUGUST 28th!!! We will be spending 7ish day's at Disney before hand then just when she thinks we are heading home the Cruise bus will pick us up Soooo excited for that day! Any how it will be myself, DH, Daughter Maxine 9 and Daughter Mylie just turning 4. I am not a crafty person at all however would love to do the FE's!!!!!

Where are you staying at WDW and for how long? We are leaving for WDW in just 3 weeks - so we are right behind you!

Hi! Just decided to book this cruise. It will be my son who will be 9 next summer and myself. This will be our third Disney cruise. We did a 3 day on the Wonder in 2007 and the eastbound Panama canal cruise in 2008 (the one I see Silmarg posting about on the thread). We'll doing a stay at WDW before the cruise, but I'm waiting to see if there's free dining or other discounts before booking that. Glad to be here.

Welcome lauritagoddess. We also are waiting to see if free dining or room discount comes up before we book for before and after the cruise.I have other family members who are not on the cruise but will be meeting up with us after and family who are on the cruise will be doing disney before, so I get the best of both ! I do know that the poly will be the resort we will be staying at for at least one part, never stayed there and want to try it. The other stay will most likely be the cbr or perhaps the yacht club love both of them so either is fine by me!

We're only about 45 minutes away from each other I'd say, well with decent traffic.

On a totally different note, do you ever go to New Roc City? My son went there recently on a trip with camp to play in the arcade and he's begging me to take him back. I was wondering if it was worth making the trip up to New Rochelle for.

New Rock City is definitely worth the drive if you've got an older little - Take a sweater and go skating or change ur shoes and go glow bowling or just hang at the theater .... hey its an imax theater - a little something for everyone and everyone can get to do a little something ....

We'll arrive on the 14th as well! Tom and I are getting more excited by the minute!

Before you book a bounceback offer check if the DDP is still the same! IF what is printed in the UK brochures is correct than the DDP is going to change (no more desserts, no more refillable mugs for QSDP). I guess it won't make any more sense for us to pay rack rate for just a main course and a drink!
But we should know soon - the new DDPs are usually out at the beginning of August! Let's keep our fingers crossed Disney is dismissing its UK plans!
