Just found out that I won a sweepstakes and am going to be on the Christening Cruise for the Disney Dream. OMG so excited!! anyone else get a call so far?

I didn't win a sweepstakes but I'm on it, very excited! I received an 8D cabin and I'm thrilled to see the porthole and the seating area.

I'm anxious to find out what Disney hotel we will be in the night before, I might add a day before. Are you a TA or just a lucky winner?

I don't know anything yet. I got a call Tuesday about this, spent all Wednesday making sure it was not a scam, and sent my paperwork over yesterday. Waiting for Disney to contact me to make travel plans. Will be sure to let you know all my info!!

Debbie, when you get that call, will you let me know if they tell you what Disney resort it will be the night before? Assuming you are doing that too, that is. All I know is they put us at a Disney resort the night before, and I know it must be a deluxe or Riverside (there are 5 of us). I'm guessing Boardwalk, but I'd love to know because we might come Monday night instead of Tuesday morning.

Good Morning america was showing the Dream and had a "win a cruise" sweepstakes so I entered online. 10 people won an all inclusive trip for 4. As I said, still won't believe it until I get the call from Disney and all my arrangements are made.

Dicecatt--are you sure you are on the Jan 19th Christening Cruise or the Jan 26th Maiden Voyage? Your ticker states 1 week later than mine?

so did you get your cabin assignment for the 19th yet? we didn't. I believe we are staying at the Polynesian the night of the 18th, part of our prize is a night at a disney hotel and a parkhopper for all 4 of us.

Yes, I did...a cat 8 that sleeps 5. I don't know what hotel we are in the night before...there is some type of event, I heard at Magic Kindgom, but I don't know where they'll put us. No word yet

we have not stayed at the polynesian before. I have stayed at the contemporary though. Just got my daughters renewed passport in the mail on saturday. glad to have that now.

please post any information that you get about this cruise. you will probably get info that I won't be privy to.

Hi Gang, I'm on this cruise too.
I won it through Disney Travel Agents and still can't believe it!
I haven't been assigned a cabin number yet. But I have been told that I'll be spending the night at the Wilderness Lodge on the 18th. I've also noticed that the Magic Kingdom now closes at 6:00 pm on the 18th for the Dream Christening Event Party.
Please share any other details you get.
