Disney Dream Christening Cruise!! 1-19-11

There was an attachment to my e-mail with a few more details on the hospitality suite---did you not get that?? Here's the text...

We are so pleased that you will be sailing with us on the Inaugural Sailing of Disney Cruise Line’s newest Ship the Disney Dream!

Prior to your sailing you will be staying at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, reservation number #xxxxxxxx. Upon your arrival at the resort, please check in at the Front Desk. Resort rooms are usually ready for occupancy at 3:00pm. If you arrive prior to that time, your luggage can be stored with bell services.

After you check in you will be directed to our Event Hospitality located in Explorer’s Hall to collect your event materials that will include a detailed itinerary. Disney Cruise Line cast will also be there to process your documents for the cruise. All members of your party will need to be present as pictures will be taken. Hopefully you have completed your Online Check in to help speed this process along. If you have not, please go to www.disneycruise.com to complete your online check-in. Your Cruise Confirmation number is: #xxxxxxx.

Hospitality hours are from 8:00am to 6:00pm on Tuesday, January 18th.
As you may know, security has been increased at The Walt Disney World Resort so please be sure to have a government-issued photo ID with you at all times. Our security hosts will check bags prior to guests entering the parks.

Hmm...nope. I got a confirmation with my numbers on it, but not that information. So weird. I guess I'll plan on being there right at 8 AM. I have a 10 AM Tusker House so wanted to be inside AK by 9 but it doesn't really matter if there is a small delay.
 
We are also planning on going to the parks on the 18th so we will probably see you there at 8AM! Darren said there would be park tickets so I am assuming we will get them at check in or at the hospitality suite?? I am going to hold everything somewhat loosely and just take it as it comes! I am just excited to be a part of this adventure!!!!

I assume we will get a packet at check in, but they might just give us room keys and point us to the hospitality suite for the rest, and the park tickets very well may be in the hospitality suite. Glad our res isn't until 10:) It should be slow enough that we can grab fast passes to Everest and not be too far behind. I like Dinoland at opening...so empty...but no big deal either way.

My plan WAS to be at EMH at Epcot (even though I normally avoid EMHs like the plague) on Tuesday morning. But I guess I'll be in line with you ladies at 8 am. :goodvibes We only have Tuesday and Friday in the parks, so we're hoping to make the most of those days.

Even though having to check in at the hospitality suite may slow us down a little on Tuesday, it sounds like it may speed up getting us on the ship Wednesday. So I'm all for that! ;) pirate:

I did! I don't know how I'm going to get everything done in the 4 days remaining, but I got my docs. I sure wish there was more of an itinerary on there, though. Did you get your hopes up, too?
 
Yes, I was hoping for more info...but at least we know Castaway is a normal time span. I'm still not sure if I'm getting off. On one hand, it might be a great day on Castaway, because so many will stay on the ship! Plus I'm on the Maiden the week after so I'll get plenty of ship time.

I'm freaking out. I leave for Indiana this morning for a cheer competition, and won't be home until late Sunday night. None of us are packed, and we leave Monday afternoon :scared1:. Plus there might be sleety rain on Monday. Awesome, since I fly out Monday.

I SO don't want to go to this cheer competition:(
 
Yay for room assignments and docs!! :cool1: I'm still waiting on cruise docs. Our mail has been delayed this week thanks to snow (we southerners don't handle 7-10 inches of snow very well), hopefully something will come today. :thumbsup2

Yikes, you've got a busy weekend!! Fingers crossed for good weather so we can all have a safe trip to Orlando next week. :wizard: Good luck this weekend!! :cheer2:
