Debating between aft cabins 9174 and 10160 on the Dream. Which would you choose and why? Any awesome photos or videos of these cabins to share? Thank you!

Something to consider...10160 is just below Cabanas and while I've never stayed there, others have mentioned noise from Cabanas, particularly when they're moving chairs around.

We're book for 8188 in 2017.

I always sleep like a rock on a Disney Cruise. But my DD definitely prefers the 9th deck rooms to the 10th for the reasons above. I'd go with 9th floor (or 8 or 7...)

I would have a hard time staying that far aft if anyone has seasickness issues.

Thank you! The noise from Cabanas is what concerns me about deck 10. I'll go with deck 9. I've read that people on deck 10 look right down into the deck 9 verandahs -- is that accurate? I don't see this as a big problem, just would like to know in advance LOL!

Yes. This is true, but that isn't an issue for us.

We had two rooms under Cabanas (10120 and 10122) on our second cruise and several of the online reviews complained about noise from chairs above. But, although most of us are light sleepers, we never heard a thing and had a wonderful cruise. I think people are just different and have different tolerances for noticing stuff like that. In fact, every cabin, we've ever stayed in (10092, 10120, 10122, 10592, 12004, and 12012) was beneath a public area and had reviews with noise complaints, some even severe complaints. Still, we never noticed a thing in any of them. We did notice noise from the panel dividers on the verandahs on nights with high wind. Those were far more significant than anything from above could have been, but it's just part of the cruising experience. Personally, I would much rather stay on deck 10 than deck 9, but that's just because deck 10 has worked out so well for us that there's no reason to change it. In particular, the aft staterooms are nice because of the easy access to Cabanas.

9174 - Love the view....the file size of most of our pictures are too large to upload here (I have some beautiful ones looking straight back at the incredible blue water...)20140406_170658.jpg 20140406_230426.jpg

I have stayed in 10160. Huge balcony! Didn't have issue with noise from Cabanas. Can see fireworks. But...you can see Cabanas and the folks at the rail can see you, so not too private. Also when they wash the deck at Cabanas, the water drips on your verandah and makes puddles.

Could you also tell me if this room has a pull down from the ceiling bunk bed in it?

I believe there is a pull down bunk, but DD sleeps on the sofa bed so I can't be 100% certain
