Boy, this looks like a very large cat.00V cabin. Wish I'd booked this one. Any one have this cabin??:goodvibes

The deckplan I have shows this as a Cat V Accessible cabin. But it does appear to be twice the width of a regular Cat V almost, (but not quite as large as a Cat T suite) and it looks like the verandah would extend to include the very beginning of the bump out.

i think it might be a handicapped cabin?? if so, it has to be wheel chair accessible. Looks like 11008 is similar.

I think 11008 is a regular Cat T cabin, though 11006 next to it is an accessible Cat T cabin of about the same size. I didn't realize until now that there are only two accessible suites on the new ships.

DH, DS and I are in this wonderful concierge cabin and we are so happy to be sailing on the first double dip in late May! :)

Cabin 11000 is a Concierge Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah - Accessible. My family and I (in a wheelchair) will be in the cabin for the Dreams first Double Dip cruise next May. We are very excited about going on the Dream. I hope someone from Disboards will post review/pics about this cabin prior to my embarkation. Once I will return I will post a trip report hopefully with pics of the room.

Hello mom! LOL

We are booked in 11000 for the 4/17/2011 sailing. We will post pictures when we return. I was also hoping that pictures would get posted before we go!

According to DCL's large travel brochure/book, the ONLY accessible conceirge room is 11000.

Hopefully the upcoming cruises will provide some clarity on all the accessible rooms on the Dream, given all the confusion out there.

I just looked at two different places, and saw two different things regarding an accessible suite. At least they all agree on 11000 being an accessible V!

This, from the Updated PDF file (the one that previously removed most of the aft verandah accessible designations), shows 11000 as the accessible V, plus 11006 as an accessible T suite.

This one comes from the cruisedeckplans.com website, which I think is based on the older plans, since it shows most of the aft corner rooms as accessible. It is consistent with 11000 but shows 11008 as the accessible T suite.

ppiew - I just noted (per the post above) that different sources show either 11006 or 11008 as an accessible T suite. So I take back my original comment, since you could be right! Then again, we could both be wrong from what stace has heard! I'm glad they made this so clear and easy to understand!!

Enjoy your cruise and have a magical time

Another cruiser was generous enough to send me these pictures for room 11000. We do not go until 4/17, but thought I would pass the pictures along, as I saw there were other people also wondering about this rooms size and set up. I am SOOOO excited!
