Going on the Dream Labor Day Weekend. Any suggestions for our day in Nassau?

Depends on what you are looking for. In the past, we spent the day at Atlantis (did not book this through the ship), have stayed on the boat a few times (to enjoy the feeling of an "at sea day" since the cruise is short), and, more recently, went to the beach for the day. I was travelling with family who wanted to go to the beach, but because of disabilities, wanted it to be somewhat closer to the ship and more low-key than some of the excursions that were listed. We ended up getting a day pass to the British Colonial Hilton (Look on Resort For A Day). It was within walking distance of the ship, so you can still see the boats in port while you are on the beach. Sounds weird, but it was kind of neat, and turned out great for us since it was also pouring rain earlier in the day, and we were able to wait out the rain for a while before leaving the ship (since we knew we didnt have far to go, and we could still have plenty of time left in the day to enjoy the hotel facilities). We aren't into shopping or historical tours, but others are, and you can probably find lots of info on those on disboard. Enjoy your trip!
