We did that one last year, Lauren, and it is awesome. We still make the recipes at home (and after making four drinks in class my husband and I needed to walk the deck outside quite a few times! Nancy, that is a really good question. I hope some of our other families comment on your question, too. You have cruised quite a bit and know there is so much to do and your daughters are at the age where they may want to do their own thing. I took my son to Disney World a couple years ago when my husband was on a business trip and though we loved each other's company there was also an awkwardness to some of the trip just because I wanted some other adults to talk to -- so let's see if our friends on this thread can help.

I was looking through a 4-day dream Navigator from April this morning and saw a "Singles meet-up" one day, scheduled by Disney! I didn't read the details but if you do a google search for the navigators you should be able to find it and read up on it! might be what you're looking for it didn't necessarily look "romantic" in nature, so hopefully you could just meet some new parent friends!

It's our online check in day on Wednesday - because of the time difference I need to be up and at my computer for 5am

Can I ask a question of anybody that's been on a Disney cruise before? Would you recommend the day pass for the spa? And if you do - do you know if it has to be booked when you do online check in or once you're on the ship?

Oh - and another question - what are people's plans for Nassau? Are you doing any excursions or staying on the ship or doing your own thing? Any ideas would be grateful accepted

Hello all! My husband and I will be on this sailing celebrating our 20 year Anniversary! We are counting down the days. This will be my 13th cruise with DCL.....we just love it! We will probably pass on participating in the FE group since our kiddos will not be joining us this trip. However, I am interested in the mixology class.....we have always enjoyed those in the past. Has a date and time been chosen?

Hello my Disney Dream friends! I certainly don't want to wish my summer away...but our vacation is fast approaching! There are just a couple of edits to our fish extender list so I wanted to send a revised list. Sandisw and her daughter are no longer cruising with us because of a conflict and while we will miss them we have a very excited and fun family from the UK joining us! Welcome Sonia and family (you are now in Group #2)!

Please go over the list again paying particular attention to your group. We have three groups:
Group 1 - Dream Catchers
Group 2 - Dream Weavers
Group 3 - Day Dreamers

We will add a group 4 if there is enough interest from new families. You only need to create/purchase gifts for families in your group. This way the game doesn't get too crazy. I think I have mentioned that last year I brought an extra suitcase just for my gifts! I still need a little bit of information from some of you:

Texasbeth - The Cabin number for your second cabin is needed
rgutland - Cabin number is needed.
(I apologize if you sent me this information and it was an oversight on my part. And if you are no longer participating that is fine, too. Just let me know.)

Also, just a few bits of extra information

• We will begin our game/exchange on Tuesday, August 9 through Thursday, August 11. This gives everyone some time on Monday to unpack, find your fish extender and gifts so you are ready to exchange on Tuesday. We depart from the ship so early on Friday, June 12 that we are unable to exchange on that morning.
• The game is very similar to a Secret Santa game. Small gifts are left in the pockets of the fish extender for families to find and enjoy. Some people made their gifts and some people bought them -- it is completely up to you! It is so much fun to return to the room and find these delightful treats!
• You may choose to give individual gifts or a group/family gift. It is up to you. And, you do not necessarily need to use the person's favorite character in your gift but it sometimes helps to know who it is!
• Please read through your list to see if anyone has an allergy. In Group #2 Elizabeth and Megan are allergic to nuts. If anyone else has an allergy that I do not have noted, please let me know ASAP.
• My cabin number is 9564 and I will have extra lists with me in case you forget yours. Just leave me a message on the white board on our cabin door and I will bring one to you!
• Above all, have fun! Closer to the trip I will suggest a meet up to see if any families would like to meet up for a quick hello on board! Typically this is done on the Monday of our trip and is optional!

My friends who have cruised this ship and itinerary before said the only excursion in Nassau they were going to do was the Swim with the Stingrays. Jackie also said sometimes the spa passes were cheaper on the ship. I know purchasing your excursions off the ship can be less expensive but you have to be careful to not get ripped off. Some excursions fill up quickly too.

We are starting to plan our gifts and getting really excited about our trip, but we have some scout trips and 2 camps before then so busy summer he we come.

Hello my Disney Dream friends! I certainly don't want to wish my summer away...but our vacation is fast approaching! There are just a couple of edits to our fish extender list so I wanted to send a revised list. Sandisw and her daughter are no longer cruising with us because of a conflict and while we will miss them we have a very excited and fun family from the UK joining us! Welcome Sonia and family (you are now in Group #2)!

Please go over the list again paying particular attention to your group. We have three groups:
Group 1 - Dream Catchers
Group 2 - Dream Weavers
Group 3 - Day Dreamers

We will add a group 4 if there is enough interest from new families. You only need to create/purchase gifts for families in your group. This way the game doesn't get too crazy. I think I have mentioned that last year I brought an extra suitcase just for my gifts! I still need a little bit of information from some of you:
TotesByDN - Cabin number is needed
Texasbeth - The Cabin number for your second cabin is needed
rgutland - Cabin number is needed.
(I apologize if you sent me this information and it was an oversight on my part. And if you are no longer participating that is fine, too. Just let me know.)

Also, just a few bits of extra information

• We will begin our game/exchange on Tuesday, August 9 through Thursday, August 11. This gives everyone some time on Monday to unpack, find your fish extender and gifts so you are ready to exchange on Tuesday. We depart from the ship so early on Friday, June 12 that we are unable to exchange on that morning.
• The game is very similar to a Secret Santa game. Small gifts are left in the pockets of the fish extender for families to find and enjoy. Some people made their gifts and some people bought them -- it is completely up to you! It is so much fun to return to the room and find these delightful treats!
• You may choose to give individual gifts or a group/family gift. It is up to you. And, you do not necessarily need to use the person's favorite character in your gift but it sometimes helps to know who it is!
• Please read through your list to see if anyone has an allergy. In Group #2 Elizabeth and Megan are allergic to nuts. If anyone else has an allergy that I do not have noted, please let me know ASAP.
• My cabin number is 9564 and I will have extra lists with me in case you forget yours. Just leave me a message on the white board on our cabin door and I will bring one to you!
• Above all, have fun! Closer to the trip I will suggest a meet up to see if any families would like to meet up for a quick hello on board! Typically this is done on the Monday of our trip and is optional!
