Hey All!!! I am so sorry - we are looking at our calendar for summer and I just don't know how we're going to get it all done - we are going to back out of the FE. I'd rather do it now than wait til the last minute and really mess things up for people, or only put half our heart into our gifts.

I'm sorry for the confusion/trouble this causes.

Hello my Disney Dream friends – it is Alyson!


If you have read through the thread you will see that I am coordinating the fish extender game for the Disney Dream cruise August 8 – 12. And, I cannot wait! We are all going to have so much fun and make fantastic memories with our families and friends. In addition we will be participating in the fish extender activity and I am so excited to start my little treats for everyone

Below is the latest list – we have four groups which is awesome! The more, the merrier. Right now Groups 1, 2 and 3 are filled and Group 4 is starting to fill up. So, Groups 1, 2 and 3, you can start making your gifts because I won’t add anyone else to those groups. Group 4 may see some more families. (Group 1 please take note that our friend Danielle decided to leave the game. With her wedding coming up she just has too much on her plate -- but we wish her the best!)

Just a few reminders:

*Your gifts can be handmade or bought – they only need to come from the heart. I think this activity is such a kind gesture to begin with so whatever you choose to give will be grand!

*Gifts can be grouped or individualized – you may choose to give each family or cabin a gift or gifts for each person.

*We will begin distributing gifts on Tuesday (August 9) of the cruise. This way we all have time to unpack our extenders, get them hung up and organize our gifts. Last year I put gifts for each cabin in a plastic grocery bag and attached the cabin number to the outside. It made it easy to distribute, but whatever method works for you…go for it!

*Please pay attention to any person with allergies, food or otherwise.

*If anyone forgets a list on the cruise I will have extra lists with me so just find me in Cabin #9564.

*Soon I will edit the list to put them in cabin order to make it easier for you to find the rooms.

*If there are any errors to your information, please let me know ASAP.

Good morning, Disney Dream friends!

I just wanted to check in to make sure everyone saw the list above and see if anyone has any questions. I am trying not to think too much about the cruise because I don't want to wish my summer away...but how can we not think about this awesome adventure we all will be on in about 45 days. We will be coming from a Disney resort and I just love taking the shuttle with other families to the port. Just seeing that majestic ship as we enter the port is amazing and now I know what to expect once we board -- we will be heading right for Cabanas buffet. What will your family do first? AquaDuck? A show? Meet the princesses?

There are so many things to do and see on a Disney cruise for the whole family -- it doesn't matter how many are in your party either! I can't wait for us all to relax and make wonderful memories with our families. Once we get closer to the cruise I will propose a "meet" site and time to see if anyone would like to take 15 minutes and meet on the ship.

I have a nutty work schedule in July and trying to get a jump on things now and if we add people last minute, I wouldn't be able to do what I feel would be warranted for them. Hi again, everyone,
Camaran asked a great question although it is my least favorite to answer because while I want as many families as possible to participate in the fish extender game it just isn't fair for our Group #4 to not have a cut off date. Without one it makes it extremely hard for families to create special treats for those already participating.

With that said, lets give it one more week and hope that anyone looking for us...finds us! So, the cut off for participation in the Disney Dream August 8 - 12 Fish extender Game will be July 3. I hope Group #4 gets a few more participants but either way, we are going to have an awesome time! And I hope that cut off date works for everyone, too.
