HI All! My DD 20 and I are now going to be going on this cruise and just wanted to say hi! I see that your group for FE may be closed but we would love to participate if a second group gets formed, or if you decide to split the group into two. I do not have our cabin number yet, but here are details and I will update when we have cabin number, just in case. This will be my 3rd cruise and looking forward to the fun!

Hi Sandi! SO glad that you found us and I am psyched that this is your 3rd Disney cruise...hopefully you can share some of your favorite things with us! And, I will absolutely start to assemble a second fish extender activity for you and your daughter. We'll see if we get any other families to join. I have nicknamed the first group above the "DREAM CATCHERS" and I will nickname your group the "DREAM WEAVERS" just to keep them straight...and let's see what happens. I will start to maintain a second group on our thread and depending on how many more families we get, we'll do exactly as you say: Add you to our group, make a second group, or split ours in two!

I really can't wait for our vacation and hopefully meet some people from our group!

Greetings my Disney Dream friends!

I apologize that it took me a bit longer to get our fish extender game organized! Well, you know how life goes! But, we are under six months and this is usually the time I start to get excited about our annual summer vacation. And I can't wait to meet some of you onboard the Dream in August. I have compiled our families but I do need some additional information from some of you, so please add it when you get the chance and I will continually update our list. For the game we need at least cabin numbers and guest names. It makes it easier if you share ages (at least for the kids!) so we can create/buy small gifts appropriately. And, if you know a guest's favorite character it can sometimes come in handy! The codes before the names are pretty easy to figure out -- DM is Disney Mom, DGM is Disney Grandma, etc.

Remember that the gifts should be small, thoughtful tokens -- last year we were thrilled with everything we received, no matter what it was!

This list is in no particular order because I am lacking so many cabin numbers but I will group them by floors once we have all of the information complete. Right now we have nine families. Danielle (TotesByDN)...I know you are going to be getting ready for your wedding but would you like to be included in our game? No pressure, of course! With that said, the cut off is typically between 10 - 15 families because we don't want the game costing a fortune for families or causing headaches! So, I would like to cut off the game at 12 families...how does that sound? We all gathered early and once we declare a cut off additional people can form their own game.

Sandi -- we had a family cancel their cruise due a scheduling issue. While we wish Darla and her family all the best, that means you and your daughter can join our group of "Dream Catchers!" So...I will revise the list tonight once again and add you and Marcie in! The same guidelines will apply if we see other families want to join our group. I will start a second group of fish extenders and we'll see what happens!

I am so glad that you have found us! And I love your countdown -- we can all get excited over that! It is very similar to a secret Santa game where we leave small token gifts in pouches designed to hang from the 'fish' outside of each cabin door on the Disney Dream. What we would need is your cabin number and names of those in the party and ages (only if you would like.)

Once I get your confirmation of whether you would like to join in the fun (and absolutely no pressure at all) I will add you and update the list right away! Depending on how many families we get I will break the group into two (or three or more!) so we all have a chance to participate. And by all means...share your love for Disney, cruising, things you like best, or ask any questions of our group. I am sure many of our Disney Dream friends would love to comment on their "must-dos" as well.

So glad that you found us and so excited for your family. You sound very similar to our family (From Erie, PA, visit WDW once or twice a year and it will be our second cruise on the Dream!). Yay!

I am sure you have read through the thread above so I will add your family to our list and I periodically send an update with the whole list. It looks like we now have enough for a second fish extender activity so a bit closer I will divide the group so we can restrict each activity to maybe 10 families or so which makes the activity pretty manageable.

This link/thread can be anything you want to talk about including must-dos, cruise-dos, or anything else! It won't be too long before we are enjoying all of the activities on the Dream. What fun!

YAY -- you have found our group! Wonderful! I am just as excited as you are. We live in Erie, PA on the lake and had snow all weekend (we may be tough in these parts but we sure are tired of it!) I am counting down the days until our cruise and my husband and I just looked at pictures from our last cruise last night! There is nothing better than a Disney cruise and the Dream is such an awesome ship.

As I look out my office window to wind and some snow (and 31 degrees) I get even more excited to set sail with all of you and enjoy time with our families and new friends. I can't wait to try Vanelope's Sweet Treats and visit Castaway Cay! What are you looking forward to this cruise?

Last year I brought an extra piece of luggage to carry my fish extender gifts so I don't want the game causing additional stress and hassle because we all just really want to have fun! Expect each group to have about 10 members (so the first group can probably get started on their gifts!) I will keep my family at the end and join whatever group is last. I hope that makes sense to everyone. Plus, I want to make sure the families who are on the list are still interested in participating! So, please check the list and let me know if there are any errors or additions.
