how bout now ????

So, I've been looking at the Navigators for other 3 nights and trying to figure out the photo situation. Dress up night is night 3 but night 2 has the most photo options (lifestyle etc). Also it takes 3 hours from photo taken to be processed at Shutters and you don't want to be in Shutters the last night because it is packed. I want pictures with us dressed up and I want to see the pictures before deciding on prints or CD. Seems like it makes more sense to dress up on night 2?? How do people work this out?

I'll ask Barb to come back and answer this for you. Last summer when I sailed, they were just starting the new thing where you can look at your pictures on a kiosk....which should, in theory, help with the crowds.

Maybe you could go before dinner to do the Lifestyle pictures...on night 2.....and then go ahead and dress in your favorite "formal" clothes and have pictures done that same night...between dinner services, maybe?

On the Dream your pictures are stored in books and you find the location of them by scanning your KTTW card on the screen at the end of the 'bookshelves'. The area will still be crowded the last night since many people will be looking thru the 'books' containing the pics, but it's not as bad as looking over the walls of pictures like on the Magic/Wonder.

As far as when you want pics in dressy clothes, go ahead and wear them on night 2 so you have time to look over them. Depending on if you are going to the shows each night will depend on how much time you will have for pics.
Just don't strain your brain too much by overthinking the picture situation.
Keep in mind the images on the photo cd do not contain the borders that are put on the printed images.

Thank you!
Even though I won't be doing any pictures, I'll have to go see how the system works.
I'm going to miss the walls of pictures....I used to love to see all the little ones all dressed up and posing!

That comment doesn't make you sound very good :scared1:.

You'll be doing an embarkation picture and if you are in any of the wedding pics you'll be able to see them since they use the facial recognition. So you really will be getting pics done.

In Vancouver last month they didn't even take our pics in the port. We noticed the pic when we were boarding and they were pics taken on our cruise in April. We realized that since I was wearing a yellow shirt and I didn't have a yellow shirt with me last month.

I forgot about embarkation....yes, I usually get that one. Except for the times when it had been raining and I looked like a drowned rat.

That's really creepy that they used your old pictures..........

It never occured to me that they didn't take our pic in Vancouver when we checked in, we were more interested in asking about upgrades and telling them we didn't want the lanyards which we had to convince we didn't want. I don't remember if it was our pic they took in the terminal or not from April.

PURE EVIL!! :maleficen

You might just find your house infested with fire ants.

Then you will get the bill. I know you wouldn't do that, because how would YOU get the fire ants in the house without YOU getting bit all up? Your luck is worse than mine and they would probably get in your suitcase and go on the ship with you.
