Disney Dream 9/29/2011 3night

Ha! That's YOUR specialty. Now you need to fly down to Florida a couple of days before we get there and leave a nice pie in the fridge for Garry!::yes::::yes::
I think there's some key lime juice in the fridge so go ahead and make one. The rest of the ingredients are there too, you will just need to pick up the eggs. LOL!!!

But......

.....if you want to buy my plane ticket I'll gladly do that for him. :rolleyes1 :grouphug:

WOW :surfweb:

Welcome, welcome, welcome....There is a great FAQ stickey at the beginning of this forum for answers to questions...Otherwise, just ask.

Oh, and have you packed yet????????

I got my cruise documents on Saturday. One month from today we will all be on board. I don't really care where the boat goes as long as there isn't a hurricane. Things are a mess here the day after Irene. No power at the office and a lot of homes, trees down, traffic jams. Glad to be home for the day.

Victoria

Victoria, I have been amiss at checking in, no excuses. but so sorry to hear about your mess. I am reading along so I hope that you have power back and can relax and enjoy the pre-cruise excitement....

GEEE - I missed all the fun....Is it time to panic yet?

We too don't care where the boat goes as long as it's not in a hurricane!

We just got our power back at 3 am! Don't realize how much you need electricity until you don't have it. Some people here are being told it might not come back on until 9/4.

We had 8 trees down in the back yard. One was half way in the pool. Luckily not any serious damage, just the fence that needs to be repaired in several places.

We are considering ourselves lucky, people within a couple of miles of us are in the dark wading around in their basements trying to salvage whatever they can.

So glad you are ok and are back on line. We had no power for 6 weeks in 2004 and again in 2005, it came on 4 days before we left for the Nov. 5th cruise, and the fence down, and trees, and the roof, and and and.....It is not fun,,,,,and now I hear that Lee has poured more rain on folks, I hope not you...

 All those hurricane stories- i'm glad you are all ok..my parents in upstate ny had 5 ft of water in their basement and had to have the fire dept. Pump it out..

Now on another note: I can't believe they are changing the carry-on alcohol policy!!!! Luckily it is a short cruise but 1 bottle per person is not enough for 3 nights!!! Looks like i'll be standing outside the port with a sign
"looking for volunteers needed to carry on some wine and beer- will pay $$$ for transport"

say what?????

I have been awol, when this this happen, is it true?????

I just tried to PM you but apparently I don't have enough posts yet. My SIL and I would love to participate in the Fish Exchange...I hope I'm not too late. This will be our first Disney Cruise. Please let me know what information you need from me and I will get it to you tomorrow (Sept 1).

Thank you,
cmtscrap

Welcome Aboard.....and are you a scrapbooker by chance? just was looking at your siggie...name....

I booked the Caribbean Queen snorkel in Nassau, just for myself. I've done it before and it really wasn't all that great, but I know I'm just going to NEED to be in the ocean.

I think the rest of the gang is hanging around the ship and going to Sr Frog's.

Castaway Cay we have the wedding, of course. Not sure if we'll go back out to the island after lunch, or just go to the pool. Again...have to be in the water somewhere!
The pool is so small, though (the adult one) that I'm not sure it will do the trick.

Ditto....and trying to decide if I want to take snorkle gear to CC.....

Okay!!! We have officially passed the deadline for the Fish Extenders! I have PM all of those that are participating. We have a total of 11 staterooms! A perfect amount if I do say!! If for some reason you did not get the list please let me know, it's late and it's been one of those weeks! :surfweb::eeyore:Can't wait for VACATION! :yay:

If for some reason a stateroom number was to change, please PM prior to September 25th! After that date I will not have my computer. My suggestion for any stateroom changes after that date:

As soon as your on ship if everyone can immediately hang up their FE, then if you have a stateroom change, you can write down your username, old stateroom number and your new one and deliver the slips of papers to the other staterooms to notify the others.

If anyone has any other suggestions on this then please share, because this was the only way I could think of.

On behalf of everybody, whether doing the FE or not...

THANKS......:thumbsup2
