Disney Dream 9/29/2011 3night

Okay....now it's just "fingers crossed" and hoping I get my new passport back in time.
I check my passport all the time. I thought it expired next year. Oh well.

I filled out the forms online, printed them, wrote a big 'ole check, went to get my mug shot taken and sent it all overnight.

We'll see.....:sad2:

I think that you will be fine especially since you expedited it!

That.s sweet....sorry your baby needs tissues to start school:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:Could not help myself.

enjoy the milestone!

Honestly they do....you should see the list of things we have to send with the kids:
Tissues
Hand sanitizer
Glue
Crayons
Pencils
Paper
Scissors
paper
etc etc etc

The schools don't provide anything any more except a desk. :sad2::sad2:

The guy at the post office said he's seen them come back in as little as a week or two.
They even had little stickers to put on the envelope that say "EXPEDITED". I guess they're used to dummies like me.

WHAT??????? Say it isn't so.....Did I miss something? Is it April 1 st?????

Thisnwill teach me to check the boards. although I live in fear ofnthe same thing happening to me.

I stood there staring at the expiration date on my passport, only WISHING it were an April Fools joke.

Just letting you all know that it is now Friday morning - 3:17 am (I'm on night shift... YUCK!) which means it is exactly LESS THAN FOUR WEEKS until we leave for the USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's cold, wet and raining at the moment..... Bring on the sunshine! 2 weeks of free dining at WDW prior to the cruise - I don't think I'll fit into my wedding dress and may well sink the boat!

You won't sink the boat, silly.....and your wedding day and dress will be perfect!!princess:

Don't forget to send us the details of where and when the wedding is....we'd still love to at least watch, if we can. (We don't need to crash your reception, we know how expensive it is!)

And even if we can't be there with you -- we will want to raise a toast to the newlyweds.....

LOL... Seriously we have never done the dining plan before, and not eaten at many disney resteraunts in our past trips.. We are so excited about the dining plan, and then all the free food in the parks!!!!!

As for wedding - AGH - It's getting close!!!!!!!

Sea Breeze Point - Boardwalk Inn - 10am - Wednesday 28th September.

So long as there isn't more than 20 people total it's all good -and I'd love to con someone into taking some video so we can show our parents, and some guest photo's whilst we wait forever for the real ones to come! We are only doing an Escape wedding - so no reception - just a cake and champagne celebration immediately after. Will be PLENTY of cake to go around - and I assume I can't take the leftovers on the cruise can I???

FB or email me if you want to come so I can pop names/numbers on the list and send you all some updates beforehand! :) emcleish at gmail

We are then off for a heap oh photography, and later have a private butler dining thingy on a balcony at the GF, followed by a wishes fireworks cruise... It's going to be a very long day!!!!

Erin,

It all sounds so exciting!!! We won't be arriving in Florida until the 29th but we will look forward to toasting you on the ship!

You will fit in to your dress, with that much touring you are going to burn many calories.

The 4 weeks will fly by and be here before you know it!

Hi everybody,
With all the talk on passports, I thought I would ask if everyone gets them. Last time we cruised, we forgot ours but had our birth certificates and ID and it was ok to board the ship. Is that still true? Hope so cause we don't have them current!

Yes, you can still use your certified birth certificate.
I just prefer to use my passport.

:headache::headache: I am SO stupid!!!!! I got out my son's health records to fill out the form for the school, and I thought I should check my passport.

MY PASSPORT EXPIRES ON SEPTEMBER 9TH!!!!!!!!!!

I have the form all filled out, now all I have to do is get a photo somewhere and mail it with the extra $$$$$ for it to be expedited. :headache::headache:
How could I be so stupid???

:scared1:

:scared1:

NOT EVEN going to touch this one !!!!!

:worship:

Does a 9 month old need a passport? Or will her birth certificate suffice? I better mosey on over to Google before it's too late!

Her birth certificate will be fine....again, it has to be a certified copy.

Are any of you into Hidden Mickeys?
I have been meaning to go to the HM website and print out the Clues for the ship!
I think it's so much fun!

Sounds like fun to me, too. We look for Hidden Mickeys EVERYWHERE....sometimes we have to really stretch our imaginations.... but it's still fun!

We like hidden Mickey's but we might just be looking for them in passing.

Seems like there is too much to do on the ship already!!!

Hi everyone.

I know we haven't been here in forever, but we are really looking forward to this cruise .. still! Work has been sucky, and this will certainly be a nice break. Though I'm not complaining .. we certainly know that we are lucky to have jobs at this point in this wretched economy.

Anyway, as I've mentioned, Mike and I are doing the B2B with the cruise before this. As it happens, we have a room booked at the Radisson at the port for Saturday, 9/24 with check out 9/25. It's non-refundable, and we decided not to use it (long story). I posted this on the 9/25 thread, and no one has taken me up on my offer, so I it's a long shot, I know, but if anyone would like our reservation (our treat), lmk and I'll call the hotel and try to change the name on our reservation if you know anyone who would like it. I would just hate to see the room go to waste, and if some DISer could use it, I would feel better about spending that money. The room is already paid for; someone might as well use it!

xx

Let me ask Garry & Vicki...we were just discussing whether we wanted to stay near the parks the night before the cruise, or near the port.
