It's really pretty, isn't it? I wish I could make some that looked like that!
That's an idea....maybe some day I'll take cake decorating classes. As long as I don't have to eat them all.

Once you start decorating cakes icing doesn't taste good any more and you get tired of looking at it. I decorated cakes in high school and now I don't like buttercream icing because of it. It wasn't that I ate that much of it, it was just the smell got to me and that turned me off of it.

Stacey, not sure if your shoulders or back could take it. I know I couldn't do it anymore with my neck problems - at least not to the extent that I used to do it.

Hi everyone, My DM and I (DD) will be doing a B2B cruise. We are sailing on the 25th and staying for the 29th sail as well. Very Excited! I'll have to go back and catch up on some of the thread pages, but I did see that there is to be a wedding! How very exciting! Congratulations!

Been up online checking out any new information on the Disney Dream! Love the pictures that are coming out! Can't wait to go!

On Youtube search for Disney Dream Horn, there is one video clip that looks all fogged out, they play the 6 different Horn sounds! FUN!

I don't think anyone is keeping track, but I switched rooms today. We had been in 6090 and I moved us aft to 9172. I just couldn't stay away from my beloved aft!!

To be a little more specific than my dad was, the groom is actually from Arvada... The world is smaller than you think.

Mom and Dad left for Disney last night and their cruise leaves tomorrow. Im still a little jelous, but Chris is coming to visit Monday, so I guess that makes up for it!! Hope everyone is having an amazing week!!

I was in Arvada once. I lived in Littleton for a while way back in the early 80's.

Wow! What High School did he go to? I went to Arvada West, graduated in 98'. Are your parents cruising on the Dream? My parents are always down at DisneyWorld too, never seems fair that they leave me behind! But I guess someone has to make the money!

Hi folks - it's official - we booked and now all we have to do is hope there is not a storm. (Don't panic for those who joined since I was on the DREAM)...the ship if fine - no problems there, but we live in South Florida so we cannot leave town if there is a storm approaching.

Meanwhile, we have a cabin and everything.

Here is my first hint from being on the DREAM - do not book aft on deck 5 - the noise, sound and vibration from the clubs makes this section mimic Jurassic Park when the footprint shook the water in the glass (honest).

And that is my only "do not do" hint from the entire cruise.

Otherwise the ship is so pretty --- really, really pretty.
And really, really FUN.

As I told Vickie - we are planning to come but not getting excited as we know we have a good chance of being cancelled even with La Nina.

Wish I was on the beach of Castaway Cay! Were going to have a high of -3 today! Wind chill is at -32!! Whoo hoo feeling the warmth!
