Disney Dream 8th January 2012

I bet that was a "process" coming up with xiphoid :goodvibes:lmao:, please forgive me that was bad, but having taught several CPR classes I could not resist.

Nice Scott! :thumbsup2
My partner and I are all ready for the cruise - we are flying in a day early and staying at the airport Hyatt. Can not wait to land at MCO - we love that airport and hotel. I have heard that they can check you in from the Hyatt to the cruise and get your luggage from the hotel room the morning of the cruise - not sure about that - will have to do some more investigating.
Happy weekend everyone!

yeah, we were thinking of doing the same thing with the Hyatt but we have never done it before. let me know if you find any information in your investigation! ;)

happy w-e to you too!

Xiphoid76 comes from the bone over the heart (my favorite bone) and the Philly 76ers - my favorite basketball team :) So basically I love the 76ers - I know, geeky :) But that's me!

Ok , I thought it was in regard to the bone, but then I thought, no Lynne, its only you who looks at things and thinks of daft stuff like that!

Not sure I have a favourite bone. I like the big bones cause they are easy for me to splint, ofcourse the humerous is always good for a joke when its fractured!

Very good scott.

so 3.30 it is?

I still haven't received mine, but I wonder if it's because I haven't made any payment other than the deposits yet... ? :confused3

Palo brunch was our favorite "food" thing on our cruise on the magic. even more than the diner at Palo. It's soooooo good, the choices are awesome and I would eat there everyday!!! :)

We haven't made more payments either - this is one cruise we could not do on DVC points - but is seems that mailings can be sporadic. We agree about Palo brunch, enjoy it more than Palo dinner!

Lynn, since you are a DVC member, I would like to ask you a few questions about it if you don't mind? My husband and I are considering it very much, but we are not 100% convinced yet...

how was your experience with it? Do you find it's worth it? and what hotel are you "attached" to?

If anyone else is a DVC member and would like to share on the subject, please do! We will possibly join while on the cruise...

thanks!

RE DVC: Overall we are very happy with DVC, members since 1991, that said one needs to watch them and remember they are a business. Sadly and recently there have been bumps along the way with the ability to use our points. Our guide (Joan Lane) has been great and we are fortunate to have points at all resorts. Favorite resorts are OKW and AKL. DVC has been good for us.

It will be:

DH (39)...me (turning 38 on the trip)
Wolfhunt(41), Puzzlewoman (35).

We will be having two separate cabins...we are going inside cabin...they are going with a deluxe verandah.

They don't know it yet...but I'm making them a Fish Extender for Christmas...and will probably be making their gift exchange items too.
I can sew...and I just got my first Cricut expression 2 weeks ago. My DD 18 just moved out to her own place with her boyfriend and my sister went off to college in California...so I am designing my sister's room as a craft room for myself.

So now...I just need to come up with something Ingenious...for gifts.

Hey, Everyone. We just got back from the Wonder in Alaska and did our 1st Fish Extender there. Is there room for another family on this one? Our kids really liked playing secret santa and leaving gifts all over the ship and everyone raced back to the cabins to see if there was something in ours. Is there a master list of cabins and names? If there are too many people, maybe we could split into 2 groups? Please let us know, Walt and Wife. cabins 7154 and 7156

Very cute and fluffy
Safety drill is at 4pm, that will not give us much time to meet - how about either a bit earlier, or after the safety drill?

after the sail drill its sail away party at 5, we could do 3pm?
Healthy yes, and our vet bills are usually greater than our Doc bills, LOL
If I had a pound for every time I heard that!

Of course , I will add you to the list, how was the wonder, we miss her!!

Now less than 5 months away....

We received a welcome packet when we paid a few months ago, and registered online, but I think we still need to do some more online registration in October when it becomes available for our cruise.

According to some posts, if you stay at the Hyatt at the airport in MCO the night before, you can let them know and they will pick up your bags in the morning and bring them to Disney for you - next time you see them will be in the cabin - or you can check out of the hotel and check into Disney cruise line with your bags.

Can not wait to be in Orlando!!
