Disney Dream 8/21/15 Join FE Here

Hi, I'm organizing FE for our sailing on 8/21/15 on Dream.


I am a new Disney Cruiser, but not new to cruising, I've read a lot about the FE and its a great idea I want to share the whole experience with my granddaughter too.

Please provide the following information and I will keep it updated.

1- Name and number of participants ( and ages for those under 18)

2- Cabin # please add a note to why this should or should not be kept private. I've seen it posted both ways. At some point it will have to be posted to exchange gifts.

3- Any celebrations you are having on board (birthdays, anniversaries, etc...)

4- Allergies or items prohibited ie... alcohol/candy/nuts etc...

5- Favorite Character

6- Pirate's or Princesses for Pirate Night?

7- Check out this link for more info on FE BASICS


RULES:

Lets keep it FUN for the kids.

You must give a gift to each cabin on you FE list, either as a Cabin Gift or individuals in each cabin.

Shipping a box to Port Canaveral

Below is the email I got from DCL when I asked about this. Pretty much the same as the 2009 information:

3/9/14

Dear Kristy,

Thank you for your e-mail.

I would be happy to provide information regarding packages, boxes, and
gift delivery to Port Canaveral.

Items that cannot be delivered to the ship include: food products (all
and any food products), baby food/formula (unless shipped through Babies
Travel Lite), beverages (liquor, water, etc.), chemicals and luggage.
These items will not be accepted at the warehouse and will be returned.

Please be aware, due to Customs Regulations, you will not be able to
arrange delivery from the ship to your home residence.

The items must arrive by the following time frame:
-If the cruise is sailing on a Saturday or Sunday, then the package must
arrive by 3:00pm on Friday.
-If the cruise is sailing on a weekday (e.g. Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday, or Friday), then the package must arrive by 3:00pm the day
before the cruise.

Packages should not arrive more than two weeks prior to saildate.

Please ensure the following information is on the package being
delivered:

*Name
*Sail Date
*Ship
*Stateroom Number
*Packing slip that details contents of the package (for prescriptions, a
copy of the prescription is sufficient)

I think we would do better in a 10 cabin group. We will only have 1 4 pocket FE & since our cabins adjoin just count us as 1 cabin and as a group of 4. Does this make sense? My mom will have My daughter and neice in her cabin and my sis and I will have my lil man in ours.

Bring extra luggage or a bag you can carry on to take all your goodies home in. Shipping the gifts to the ship sounds like an awesome idea. Had to pack them last year and they got smushed. I am so excited to be going back!!!

I actually have a friend cruising in June. She's actually making totes as her FE for this reason. I'm not that crafty...
