If adults aren't dressing up for Pirate night, what is the attire? My dh is a party pooper lol. And I am not planning on dressing up either (what would I wear?) Kids have tees/dress in the theme )

I have never found it to be too chilly in the dining rooms but temperature is a very personal thing I've found. Bring a sweater if you tend to get cold easy and then you will have it all covered (pun intended )

I'd say just casual (cruise casual, nice jeans even). You'll see such a variety of things that night from shorts and t-shirts to full-on pirate garb and wigs, etc.

Yep they sure do!! So don't laugh and you guys can say I warned you - the bandanas have a strong smell to them. I guess it's the fabric and ink on them? Not a big deal but just thought while we were on the subject I'd throw out that tidbit - anyone agree?

I'm about to get this packing in full swing! I need to wash a couple loads for me and DS and then get it done. We leave Tues morning to fly down and I'm only working half a day on Monday but I'd like to know this is mostly done!

Did anyone see the thread on the main page that the 8/10 sailing had their days moved around just a bit? I posted over there because from I know there wasn't any major storms out there (not that I saw?) so I was only just curious why. We don't have anything booked this cruise so it doesn't impact us but it might for others that do have things booked ~ from a planning perspective.

Ok that laundry isn't going to wash itself....

I know that over the years after 13 Disney cruises I had collected so many of those bandanas that I gave about 20 of them to my dance teacher to use for her summer dance camp program.

Yep- We are flying in Tues. and I did all the laundry yesterday- we've set aside most of the clothes and today or tomorrow we will pack up the suitcases! Super excited!

I will do the laundry and set aside the stuff while I do it. I'm used to packing so it doesn't really take me too long to get it done.

Tonight I'm going to see Reba in concert.

At least you live in Florida to start with, so that's good to start with

It's been rainy here the past few days and on the cooler side after all the heat we've had this summer. Just getting me more excited to come south

We are in Cape Coral Florida waiting for Monday to travel to AKL then on Wednesday the cruise. The thunder storms here have been excellent! Was beginning to think we had brought the rain with us!
