Disney Dream - 7 April 2011 for 3 nights

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to stop in and say Hello and Thank you so much for the Logo and Final FE list!! Wow, I can't believe we are so close now :thumbsup2

I think at this point, I need to stop reading the boards, LOL. I am getting worried about check in lines before the first cruise and the B2B process taking a long time (after reading trip reports). I need to just sit back, relax and let whatever is going to happen, happen :rotfl2:

I can't wait to meet everyone! Sorry, I have no idea about when or wear to do the group meet. We gave up on trying to meet the first day on our other cruise and decided to meet in the morning of the second day. It seems that with two sail away parties, delayed boarding, early shows/dinners that it is hard to find a time when everyone can meet :confused3

I'm proposing we have our DIS meet right after the muster drill...someone please help with a meeting place...outside, poolside is fine with me!!!??? Anyone, anyone, Bueller, Bueller???:lmao:

Final list has been emailed along with the logo.

If I missed someone...please let me know and I'll get it to you!

If anyone on this roll call who is not participating in the FE but would like a copy of the logo...PM me your email and I'll send it to you! No judging...I'm NOT Jordak!!!;)

Ah, Good old Ferris Bueller..:lmao: Poolside works for me. Now which pool as if we did not have enough questions to answer already..Bueller, Bueller???:rotfl:

quick question for everyone. With this being my first FE Exchange...is it better to pay the additional luggage fees if needed or mail the items to the ship? I did see there is a procedure to mail items but wasn't sure how that would work out. Seeing how I tend to overpack, not sure how much extra room I'm going to have in my suitcase. :tigger:
Thanks,

Lori

I have the same problem since we are doing B2B and have two cruises worth of FE's to bring. I put all of mine in a duffle bag and it weighed 25 pounds :scared1:

I think I am going to have to just bring another carry on. I can't afford to use up that much of my luggage space/weight restrictions.

I didn't think about shipping mine directly to the ship, but I would think that would be pretty pricey too since mine is coming from CA.

Maybe I will just bring it on the plane as well. I bet the shipping would be expensive. Thanks.

Im glad you asked that question because I was thinking the same thing about the gifts..We usually only bring one carry on however I might have to make it two because of the gifts. Good News for me though, My supplies from overseas came in today for all of the ladies FE gifts. Now to finish shopping for the rest of the supplies and start being creative..

I am finishing up with the ladies FE gifts..Can I just say WOW.. I am NEVER one to toot my own horn but if I can say that you are going to be thrilled..:cool1: OK , I will toot a little and you will see why in 3 weeks..

Has anyone had any problems registering their kids for the clubs?
My 11 year old son has been placed in the oceaneers club for 3-10 year olds by the online system. I thought he should be in the Edge :confused3
He will not enjoy being with the younger ones as having 2 older siblings he is mature for his age (and also very tall).
How can I change this - do I have to wait until we board?

Did you sign him up? For my 11 year old son it was an option to sign him up Oceaneers club. I chose not to because he will want to be at the Edge. From reading these boards I have heard that they were giving the 11 year olds the option to do one or the other. Not both. I also thought that the Edge was a club that you did not have to sign up for..I will double check this for us..:thumbsup2

I have my DS 11 signed up,but I don't know which one.I did it online as a part of our check in. I will have to check on that also. He will want to be with the older group.

I checked my check in online and my son is not signed up for a club. The site also says that the Edge and Vibe do not have sign ups for those clubs. (I would assume that they just show their KTTW) All the clubs underneath the 11 year age mark do have a sign up though. Hope this helps..

That's what I did too - I just assumed it was part of the check-in process.

Thanks, that's good to know.I guess I should go try and un-register him from Oceaneers now. I think he will love the Edge - everything about it looks just perfect for him:thumbsup2

Hey, all!

I'll be on board filming some cool videos. I won't have a whole lot of time for funning and sunning on this trip, but if you see me with the camera crew, I'd love for you to pop over to say, "Hi!" It would be a pleasure to meet you!

:yay: Andi

Robin it is so sweet of you too put so much thought and effort into the FE. I know everyone will be thrilled! Zoe and I put together the FE goodie bags this weekend. We had so much fun and hope they bring as much joy to all of you.

Thanks..However I did have to modify the ladies gifts because it was becoming VERY expensive to finish 10 of them. (Lets just say that they were over $10.00 a piece.):scared1: (Unfortunatly some times I get caught up in spending and not realizing the total untill its too late) I adjusted the same type of thing just not as elaborate as my original plan. However they are still great..I think that you are going to love them..

On a side note, I did order the Dooney and Bourke WDW 40th anniversay bag that I will be getting it this week...I LOVE that bag..

On previous cruises (when it was called "oceanquest" before it became "edge"), there was no sign up. I was thinking that you didn't even need to show your kttw card. But I'm reminded that they make sure all the kids in the edge know the location of their muster station. The location, identified by a single letter, is printed on the kttw card so it is good for them to always have it.

Wow, I can't wait to see them!! :thumbsup2 Hum...I have a feeling that you will be putting my FE gifts to shame though :rotfl2: I wish I could have done more but with two cruises, I was limited on my options.

WOO HOO - which style did you get? I am using the DL 55th Anniversary Messenger Bar (with matching wallet that DH got me for Christmas) as my everyday purse right now. I love that bag.
But I can't wait to get my hands on the Dream Inauguaral bag when we get on the ship :thumbsup2 I'm not sure which style I'm going to get yet...I need to see them in person, LOL. But I love the pattern!
