I used Avery Dark T-Shirt Transfers....when I printed, I set it as Photo print on my printer. Let the transfers dry for about 1/2 hour, then peeled (that is the hardest part), lined up, put the included wax paper cover over the iron on, set the timer for 2 minutes, then ironed on.....worked perfectly....the smaller name tags were 40 seconds instead of 2 minutes since they were smaller and the iron was on them the entire time. I practiced on an old shirt first, then once I felt confident, went for the new shirts we bought.
I'm a rebel. I didn't have any spare shirts, so I went straight to the new ones.
Got 9 shirts done. 3 that have to do with DIS.I did use the white shirt stuff on the white shirts though. (again rebel, but they are cheaper) The only thing you have to remember is to either mirror image them after you design them or set the printer to mirror image them in the advance setting if you have any words on it or if you have something that would look wrong reversed. I did a Captain Jack Sparrow shirt for DH where he is holding the compass and if I hadn't reversed it he would have been holding it in his left hand when it printed out.
I am so proud of her for her accomplishment. She works at the college on their Police force. She has been taking classes for about 6 or 7 years. They pay her way. All she needs to pay is books and student fees. The last 2 years she has worked full time at both her job and her classes because going part time she would have been over 40 till she finished. It has been a tough 2 years, but even with that she completed 2 novels during that time & self published them. She also went to a few modeling shoots. She is an Alternative Model with a group called Biz R Babes. I don't think she slept much. We always said she was a vampire. She works nights & what sleep she gets is during the day or her days off. For the summer she only has work, but is going to start on an English degree in fall.
for the heads up - going to check it out right now while everyone in the house is still sleeping! (me?? I just made meatballs, did 1 load of laundry, made my coffee and have been relaxing for the past 1/2 hour...)
) the princess count down was fantastic. A 10 on the awww factor!!

They have all of their Pirates of the Caribbean merchandise 50%off...so I got the Jack Sparrow lanyard.
Claires at the mall has all sorts of pretty options.
