DISNEY DREAM 5-nights May 29th, 2011

We will be there unless some unforseen flight issues.
I agree this week is crawling along. Too much to do and not enough time to do it, but the time still seems to be going so slow! Don't know how that is possible???

Angie, Michelle, and I exchanged numbers so we can send a text or call if we have any problems getting together. If you want we can all exchange through PM.

Hi y'all!
I'm sorry I've been MIA, I had an unexpected week long business trip to the West Coast. Which seriously interferes with my cruise planning and packing! Anyway, I think we should add unixadm as a late. I did sign up with his list too. I will update the list later today and email / PM those people who contacted me recently. Just been totally swamped here with work. Sorry! I need a vacation!!!

-Virginia

Virginia,

Welcome back! Thanks for adding me as a late entry...sorry if I caused all kinds of confusion with everyone! I have been keeping a spreadsheet of people that contacted me (all original FE people), so if I will be on the official list, I will go off of that rather then my own to get all my FE gifts ready.

Thanks!

I could use some help , I'm hoping someone will recognize the product I'm looking for:

A couple of weeks ago I read about a small, lockable, waterproof container that is aimed at locking up personal belonging while at the beach or pool.

The unit was oblong (I think) came in variety of colors, and had a heavy wire cord (Bike chain kinda) attached that locked back into the unit - so if someone tried to steal this, they'd have to take the entire chair or unbrella it was attached to.

Ring any bells with anyone?

I checked my search history but I can't find the link anymore and I'm completely blanking out on the product name:confused3

Any knowledge or alternate suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

All I can think of is an otter box. I am not sure if it locks but check them out. :)

Any one have plans for Palo or Remy?

We are going to Palo for brunch, High Tea and dinner. Just curious.

Kayla wanted to have her birthday dinner at Palo. How can I say no to our Disney Princess?

Ok, really, I am getting back to work, really.

We are going to Palo's on the 31st at 8:30. :)

When we get this close all I want to do is spend my entire day (yes even at work, shameful, I know) on the Disboards. This is not good because I have some major things to accomplish at work before I can go away. Work is getting in the way of my trip planning, :lmao: but without it I wouldn't be able to go on this fabulous cruise followed by 9 days at WDW. May I have a show of hands of any one else who has the same problem?

Based on the pictures from abcangie87 and her FE stuff, I'm feeling inadequate!!! Acutally, mine haven't even arrived yet!

MUST go back to work now.:rolleyes1

I have the same issue but I can't have my phone with me in my class room but as soon as I go on break I am on here. :)

We are doing Palo for dinner the last night. The brunch was all booked by the time our window opened up so I guess not for us this trip. Decided not to do Remy's since I don't eat many of the items on the menu.

Us too at 8:30!! If you want brunch, try when you board, we've been succesful in past with cancellations. And we chose not to do Remy for the same reason!

Working ....

Callie,

thanks for the suggestion! those aren't quite it, but may be an alternative. I'm thinking the shape may actually be more tote-like but not as big as a totebag - but bigger than the flat cases... the locking wire came out of the back top and into a 3 number lock in the front... AIIEE I'm saying it so badly but I can see it so clearly in my head...:lmao:

We're got Palo at 8:30 the last night too! Too funny :goodvibes

work is going too be even worse that last week....

I spend every free minute checking out the DIS and working on my trip stuff..

I love it!!!!:woohoo:

Check out this site, not sure if this is what you saw:

www dot kyssbags dot com.

<scratches head>

That is what I described, but still not what I had previously seen :confused3

But probably the best alternative I've seen, thanks Chuck!

The item (as I remember it :lmao:) was about 8X8, plastic or plastic coated, thin wire cable/cord. The Kyss item above is considerably larger, but probably more packable...

My google fu is weak today, I may have to wait for hubby to come home and wave his hands at my computer... things work better with him around.:rotfl2:

But if we still can't find it - I think the Kyss would be the best bet.

I found this....

is that it?

YEAH!! DD will be wearing her crown. Once a Disney Princess alsways a Disney Princess even at 23! princess:

I told her one trip she was too old to wear her crown any more. We got to the park and there were four 20 somethings all wearing crowns as soon as we walked into the park. I just hung my head in defeat! I've never lived that down.

Would love to tell my ds that there are others going to hand out at the vibe. He is a big ps3/xbox gamer.

Sentrey Grouping makes a portable locker. I have one that sound similar to what you are describing, but it is not waterproof or even water resistant. Maybe they have upgraded them since I got mine cause I have mine for about 20 years. This link takes you to a picture of the one I have. http://www.amazon.com/Sentry-Keep-Safe-Portable-locker/dp/B001NZXB8E

Pre cruise Dis meets -- We are staying at Country Inn the night before the cruise, but we will not be able to go to any early Dis meets (not even sure if there's one planned around our hotel). We are driving 12 hrs down on saturday and really just want to crash in the room when we get there.

I can't wait to see the friday countdown tomorrow!!

That's what I was thinking, but wasn't sure. Of course, if someone happens to be around the pool and hears "Nicholas stop" or "Matthew quit picking on your brother" feel free to come say hi to us :lmao:
