DISNEY DREAM 5-nights May 29th, 2011

We have a reservation in Melbourne for Saturday night so we won't be at the night before meet. Got some lime green T's and got our name tags done, so I just have to print out the iron-on designs.

Got my sewing machine out of my former sewing room (DSs room since he moved back home in February. Now all I have to do is go through my stash of materials and see if I can whip up some Pirates costumes for DH & me. Time to get motivated.

I'm glad to see you've posted about pirate costumes. My boys really want us to dress up but I don't want to be the only ones dressed up. Theirs are pirate halloween costumes but I'm not sure how we will go yet.

If I can pull this together we will be in Pirates costumes. Don't worry about being the only ones. There have been quite a few dress up on our last 2 cruises. Some as simple as Pirates T-shirts and some quite extravagant. This will be our 1st time dressing as Pirates. Last year I spent the time sewing a formal gown for myself and a vest and cumberbund for my DH. Just had time to finish them before the cruise. This time there isn't a formal night so I can concentrate on Pirates.

my girls have pirate costumes from a Dd7's sixth bday party. I kind of keep forgetting about them, but do plan on packing them. DH won't dress pirate but I might get to smack a tattoo on him somewhere. I might wear a blousey black tank top and at the very least, nice big earrings

We are late dining. I'm not sure how the boys will handle eating late because we eat by 5 when we are home, but we will see how it goes. Sometimes it makes it seem more special having a totally different schedule while on vacation. I am going to dress up for pirate night. My DH probably will not.

I know what you mean about work. We had a storm and it knocked out ALL our phones and internet from Tuesday am til noon on Wednesday. Then, unbelievably, Thursday morning some workers in the parking lot cut the main phone line feeding our entire office building (that we own)and everything was out again until Noon today! I, sadly, am the one in charge so you can guess who everyone was yelling at. Didn't do them much good since I was getting AT&T there as fast as I could and I do not know how to splice an entire phone/DSL cable back together. Oh well, goes with the territory. Next week WILL be better for you & for me.

Our cruise documents are sitting at our travel agents office and she is off to Vegas for the week. I can't get my grubby hands on them till next weekend at the earliest. The wait is going to kill me. GGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

My kids are definitely dressing up for Pirate night. DH & I probably will, too. We have in the past, but the jacket I made dh is long sleeve and heavy, so not sure if he will wear that.

I know there is someone thinking about doing vow renewals (because I was going to be their flower girl), and I know Callie is on her honeymoon....

But is someone getting married?

Just thinking about it, wondering how their plans were coming along.

I have to say I loved the royal wedding and all that stuff. I was up at 4:30am to watch TV etc... I told DH I was going to make bangers and mash for dinner- didn't end up but it sound like a good idea. They look so happy and love- good luck wished for them!

Angie- I do remember someone saying they are getting married are I am almost postiive they are in the FE exchange, but my list is upstairs, so I can't tell you their name. Sorry, just got home from shopping and I pooped!

Yes, Dave and Lynn (3rascals) are getting married on the Dream. haven't heard from them lately. Not sure if they got their date, time, and location yet..

I had no interest in the royal wedding. All day yesterday at work everyone was on their phones looking at pics, watching youtube, etc. and I couldn't have cared less. Then when we got home, I saw just a bit of the rerun and I was hooked! I couldn't turn it off. Even watching it hours later it was still such a fairy tale!

I remember getting up to watch Princess Diana too-thank goodness it was during summer vacation for me-lol!!!
