DISNEY DREAM 5-nights May 29th, 2011

I always end up overpacking WAY too much for cruises. This time I will be bringing more tshirts and shorts and less nicer outfits. Last time I had a suitcase full of clothes I didn't even wear!

We are getting so excited! staying POLY for 3 nights before the cruise with my mom and dad (kathy04)to get our disneyworld fix.

Lots of people doing before & after stays at WDW! We are, too. Have to get SWW in for dh and kids.

We will be at BCV for 2 nights after the cruise. Have not made reservations for before the cruise yet, but we are only staying 1 night, then driving to Port on Saturday.

I plan too take a bunch of sundresses, swimsuits and flip flops..That seems to be all I wear on vacation and those don't take up much room,,, I am packing one nice dress for formal night..DD and I like too dress up too.

Just another reminder, our cruise leaves the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Since Port Canaveral is near the beaches it would be wise to get something booked as early as possible before the beachgoers start booking for the holiday.

We are booked at the Double Tree Suites in Melbourne for the 28th. Can already taste the Chocolate Chip cookies... yummmmm. I couldn't believe the good price we got for the room with the hotel being right on the beach. I love to get up early & watch the sunrise over the ocean and walk the beach.

We just switched our reservation from the CI&S to Old Key West prior to the cruise. So we are now doing 2 nights pre and 2 nights post cruise.

I know that this has been done before and not impossible. If you are wanting in the FE I would say go ahead and sign up. We will find you....

OMG has it been a rough few weeks here - I SO need this vacation. First, 2.5 wks ago DD was diagnosed with strep throat. Then the day after she finished her antibiotics, DS was diagnosed - but his fell on a school day so I had to miss work and stay home with him (needed 24hr of antibiotics before could return to school). So by last Thurs I was feeling crappy. I worked Friday, was cancelled Saturday and ended up calling in sick Sunday for a horrible chest cold. So Monday I finally started to feel good - and then I woke up at 2am Tues morning with the worst stomach bug of my life. OMG my 'wretching' was so bad the kids ran upstairs and HID IN THEIR ROOMS! DS (who's 7) said "Mom you sounded like you were turning into a monster!!!". By late last night I was starting to feel a wee bit better- enough that I had a piece of bread.
This morning at 5am DD started- all over her bed, pajamas, rug in the room.......

I SO NEED THIS VACATION TO GET HERE!!!!!!!

hang in there!!! We're almost there. I'll meet you at the bar for a drink or 2!!! I can't wait- very stress from a work issue and I can't shake it

After last week I know I definately need a vacation. On Friday afternoon my boss had me scheduled for 3 perms in a row. (w/ a total of 9 customers.) By the last one my hands were cramping up. Thank goodness on Saturday I just had 4 customers and was able to go home early to ice my hands & arms. The last time my hands got this bad was the week before our last vacation so I had a whole week to recuperate. This time I only had from Saturday till Monday night. Hands were still cramping so I got wrist and arm braces for carpal tunnel. I have been wearing them to sleep and during the day at home when I'm at home. Can't really shampoo with them on. It's feeling better right now, but I have to work tonight, tommorow & Friday all day & Saturday. Here's hoping that wearing them at night helps.

This sounds like the junk my family has had going on for the last 3 weeks. Started with ds - vomiting. Then dh (and he never gets stick), then dd had the vomiting, plus a cold on top of it, then I got both like dd. I have been taking Airborne and it has helped with the cold.

I'm working a lot right now and could really use a break to get over this junk. I don't know why I always seem to get sick when I am the busiest.

All you dis boarders. I just want to say thank you for all your awesome information you post!!! because of you I heard SW airlines dropped their fairs on the 28th of May!!! I got $600.00 back on our flight!!
I thought it was a lost cause because of being Memorial Day weekend so I was just going to suck it up and pay the 2,000 to fly from Denver to Orlando but now that I saved so much I may have to consider a private cabana on Cast-away-Cay!!!
