:welcome: I have added you to the roll call.

Just wondering if anyone is organizing an on-board meet up ? :cool1:

No one is organizing a meet as of now. I am not sure when we would have time on Sunday before the sail away. Anyone have any insight on where we could meet and what time worked well for other cruises?

Chuck, can you help me get on the roll call and get a msg to the PM with our info? My PM count is too low as well.

DIS name- BLeeS
The Schlomers
Brien (46), Gigi (47), Levi (8), Caleb (5)
Cabin #9656

Chuck can you add our cabin #9656 and where we are from, LIttleton, CO to our roll call and FE...I'm still too low to post it myself...thanks again:)

I updated the Roll call with your city and cabin number. I sent Virginia a PM the other day with your info for the FE. She will update the list when she signs on again.

I added a link to the FE List on the roll call page so you can check.

I was just thinking about that earlier this week. No clue where or when we should meet! I certainly wouldn't mind meeting for drinks at Skyline one night but when?? First night might not be bad but everyone might be exhausted that night (including me!!) And of course, I have no clue what to do with the kids (other than leave them with their dad and come by myself!!).
What do you guys think?? Before dinner starts? Between dinners? After dinner / shows are done?? Breakfast??

On my other cruises we met at 3:00 for about a half hour. Then headed for the life boat drill and then the sail away party. We would just need to pick a place.

On my first cruise, on the Wonder, we met at the Main Pool before the lifeboat drill. On the second cruise, on the Magic, we met in the Promonade Lounge before the lifeboat drill. Adults & Kids so everyone got to meet everyone on the first day as soon as possible, so you could get to know a few people before going your own way on the cruise. It worked out well, because then you ran into someone on the ship that you kind of know occasionally.

I'm game for anything- we should be actually getting on the ship around 2:30. We fly into MCO right around noon, so by the time we get on the DCL bus, get to port, check in...I"m thinking 2:30 is a pretty good estimate.
Just let me know where to be when and I'll try my best to make an appearance!!!!

I feel like that first day is going to be SO rushed, especially if we don't get on board until mid afternoon. I don't really care for the sail away party- I loved the one on the Wonder, but if the Dream's is the one I saw on You Tube, then no thanks. We have first seating with a 5pm show time so as soon as the drill is over we need to get ready for dinner. I'm guessing once dinner is over my kids will be exhausted (getting up early for our flight) so I'm assuming no kids club that night. I SO wish this was going to be a 7 night cruise!!!!!!!

We are taking the DCL bus from Old Key West. We might not get there until late either. We could attempt a meet at 3:00 and maybe another later that night at one of the bars. Just a suggestion. We still have time to work it out.

I mentioned this a few months ago, but now that there are some new folks on here I thought I would ask again. We have booked rooms 9606 and 9602. They are not connecting rooms. We have 5 kids ages 4-8 and it would really be helpful to have connecting rooms. Either room 9604 or 9600 would connect with one of our rooms, but DCL says they can't make a switch even though all of the rooms are the same category. My question: have any of you ever switched rooms after boarding? I'm sure whomever has room 9604 booked wouldn't mind moving next door, but will DCL let us do this if the other people agree?

We got moved to main dining last night :cool1::cool1::cool1: We were on the wait list. Wahoo!

That's great! We are going to stay with late dining this cruise just to see if we like it or not. We always eat dinner by 5 at home but on vacation we do tend to eat later so we will see.
