Since this is a short cruise, and we seem yo have a lot if first or second time cruisers, does anyone I just to small FE groups? I'm thinking a 10 cabin max? Of course you can always join more than one FE group if we get more interest and you'd like to participate with more cabins.

I am new to cruising and DCL. I have been introduced to this site by my sister and told about some of the activities. It is a short cruise, but how do I get on a fish extender group? We would love to participate and would like to start getting things together. How many people or cabins are normally in a group?

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM. The number of cabins participating is usually decided by those in the group - 10-15 cabins seems to be a common limit though.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one has come forward recently to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS. If anyone is interested in doing this, feel free to contact me for some suggestions.

I do not know.. We are on the fence on if we want to participate on our first cruise..

Thanks for letting me know at this time I'm pretty sure no one has started anything anyway! This our 5th cruise but the 1st one with just husband and I. We've done the 7 day Christmas cruise for the past 3 years with our kids. (22,20,16)
