I am so excited! We got in!

I am also on the TA program, and just found out we are officially in a few minutes ago!! I haven't wanted to post until it was a sure thing. But I am dancing for joy now.

I will be rooming with someone (also a diser) but am leaving the rest of my family home too.
I was just on the Magic and Wonder last month, so I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be cruising again so soon.

I am thrilled to join all of you on this cruise

This was a totally last-minute, amazing and completely unexpected booking, all thanks to Michelle2 and now I will be joining her on this incredible journey

I am looking forward to all the AEP stuff and super duper excited to see the gorgeous new ship we've all been watching being built for the past 2 years!

This will be my first time going to WDW/DCL alone (without my husband and daughter) and I will miss them very much but I am so excited to be able to go with my friend Michelle whom I met (online) over 5 years ago here on the DIS!!

Was running around just throwing everything in the suitcase

I have dreams like that all of the time right before a vacation or trip. It's always stress related ritual. It's always of something going wrong and having to hurry and fix things. I am always relieved to wake up from those! I am sure I will have one one of these nights.

I am not sure what resort we are in yet. Our confirmation comes on Tuesday (they are really backed up), but they did let us know we are totally confirmed. We will find out soon I hope!

Has anyone heard for sure that the doors are metal on Dream?
since I will be sharing a cabin, I wont fully decorate but I would still like to place a couple of magnets.

Glad to hear that the doors or magnet since I have packed my magnets. Also,
this will be my first FE, I had to make the FE pouches or whatever they are called. I have also got it rolled up in my suitcase.

I have been laughing, I am thinking that I will have no room for clothes with our mugs, FE items, magnets and other needed things. We are only taking a carryon and our IPads. Hope the clothes will fit or you will be seeing us in the same things every day.

Palo is worth trying for. The trying part should only take about 20 minutes. Usually the line is around 10 minutes. Palo food is exquisite. The service is incredible. The only drawback...the dinner takes about an hour longer than the regular seating(in our experience).

thrilled to know that there are only two weeks remaining until I leave for our cruise.

AEPers: The night before with TAs at All Star Music. Much more excited about eating at Epcot and the dessert reception. ALSO really excited about the ship tour. What an amazing opportunity.

Delighted to have an FE list. Going to begin making/buying FE gifts this week. AND I have to dig out my FE...Do we have the same amount of room as before?

Magnets. What a great idea. I hadn't even thought of it for this trip. I can't bring my favorites...the mickey ears that go around the stateroom number on the Magic and Wonder...but you can bet I'll be coming up with something.

I have a friend that just not get it. We were talking about my upcoming cruise and I told her that I would not be getting off the ship in Nassau but will use that time to really explore the ship, get to know the great Disboard members that are also staying on and get some knitting done. She could not understand why I would take a cruise and stay on the ship. I tried to explain but finally gave up.
To her, a ship is only to get you from one place to the next.
