Yay for Anakin!! What a wonderful moment!!

Funny how something most people take for granted can be a major milestone for another. He's been practicing at those steps at Mexico, holding the rail and going down on his own.

Found them!! He looks like he was having SOOOO much fun!!! Awesome on the stairs....and hey, did you see the lady behind Anakin with the stormtrooper checking out the ST's butt???? LOL

I saw her. I'm not sure what she's up to, but she looks disgusted.

That's the first time unattended and he had something in his hand. At TSM he has been doing well going down those steps as long as he isn't holding the glasses and is holding the railing.

I had to show DH the Jedi pics and he thought it was so awesome! We can't wait till dd is old enough! We will have to start watching Star Wars and prep her for it early!

3 years in between was enough time to make it seem new to him. He barely remembered doing it. In between those years, he watched the show many times. He never asked to do it again until Star Wars weekends this year. We told him he had to wait until the parks weren't so busy.

We will also be meeting someone from the Coronado board tomorrow! Sometime between their breakfast ADR and my lunch ADR. The more the merrier! They are doing Disney commando style, so I don't want to hold them up. Might just be a quick hello in passing or a ride on Buzz.

You betcha. Our boys learned to tie their shoes this summer! We had gotten to the point where we simply didn't think this would ever happen, they had tried but neither could even come close to mastering it. But they got fancy new shoes, wanted to keep the regular laces, practised and practised...and *bam* all of a sudden a brand new skill!

It is so amazing to see any kid grow and learn, but especially kids who have to work so hard and whose learning doesn't follow a linear path!

No problem about the phone call. My phone was charging in the kitchen, I never heard it ring. Anakin gets his last dose of meds at 10pm then I get him off to bed.

It was fun yesterday. Buzz and Splash were the only rides we did. He finally got to see Jesse and Woody! People were so bold yesterday! Can't believe someone tried to steal a stroller, and was a bit ticked at all the people who tried to cut in line in front of us to see Woody, after they were told the line was closed. We went to see the fairies after you left. It was nice standing in the air conditioned line! 40 minutes it took, but it was a nice break. It was one of the most interactive and fun M&G!!! Not just because it was my favorite, Tink, either. Anakin loved it. On the way out we stopped for a photopass pic with the Halloween decoration.

Thanks! I changed a couple to 5X7, and I understand what you mean now. Thanks so much for taking the time to explain. Next step will be to figure out how to get the cd once the pics from yesterday upload to it? I got an email that says a credit should show up in my account for it.

Tried to get a pic of the boys at TSM, but I haven't figured out this camera yet. My indoor pics usually turn out disappointing.



We needed to check out his jedi pics and have them added to our photopass card. We stopped first for a family picture. Something very rare!!

We got there and both cm who were in the store, LEFT. They went through to the next store. So we got in the little queue they have set up and waited. As we were waiting guests walked in and went right to the counter, ignoring us and the queue. We waited, and waited. Nobody. The people who cut in at the counter left since nobody was there. A manager walked through the store. Still no acknowledgement. Are we invisible? Anakin whined. He was done.

Finally, someone came back in the store. He had us meet him at a kiosk and was trying to show us pictures. All we saw was a blank screen. We told him we couldn't see any picture. He thought we meant we couldn't see any pictures of Anakin, so he kept on showing us NOTHING!! We said there are no pictures on our screen it is blank. And he continued to show us NOTHING, pointing out that this was Anakin. Anakin piped in very loudly and agitated that we are not seeing what he is seeing! He finally realized that we had a blank screen.

He took us to another kiosk and another cm entered the store. He said that the other kiosk has been acting up all morning. So we finally get the pictures on the screen and cm #2 says he thinks he should reboot the system. So he turns every thing OFF. THERE GO OUR PICTURES from the screen. The system reboots, cm#1 pulls up our pictures. He adds them to the photopass. We are very pleased with the pics taken at Jedi Training!!

With all the craziness in that store, Goofy was afraid we'd get home and find no pictures on our photopass. Everything was fine when I looked at pics on Monday night!


Anakin was exhausted from the heat. He was whining to go home. He missed his stuffed animals and his legos. We still had one more night at CSR. We hadn't even walked around or taken many pictures. All we had done there was sleep, eat at the Pepper Market and everything else was centered around the Dig Site and the pool activities.

He wanted to swim, but he needed to rest. So swimming was promised after a short rest and cool off.

When we got back to our room we came back to a pleasant surprise!!

We got double the stuff! Guess it made up for not getting any the day before!! We were also left extra towels for the pool and extra wash cloths!!

Wow was customer service lagging or what? One of the things I usually love about Disneyland is the customer service. Obviously he wasn't listening to you. Good for Anakin getting his attention.


I have stayed at the DLH a few times and have never gotten the towel animals. I don't know if they don't do it or not. Hmm, I must stay there again to see if we get them next time.

II got a text from Grumpy that he was at Sounds Dangerous and didn't see us. So we met him over there. We checked in and went inside to sit down and wait. There was another family there before us. I felt like I was being watched. I wondered if if was a DIS family? I looked for any signs of LGMHs but didn't see any. I finally struck up conversation and was asked if I was on the DIS boards. It was a follower of this thread, cgncga!! She recognized us from the pictures. How cool was that?

The children were asked to form a line to walk over to Jedi Training. I grabbed Anakin's stroller from outside and walked along side of him. Grumpy and Goofy weren't able to get up with us. I wanted to make sure he was ok walking over there. I parked the stroller at the tape where the parents may stand, and Grumpy stood over by Anakin until he felt he was ok on his own with the other children. I offered cgncga's daughter the stroller to sit in if she wanted. But they went around to the other side of the tape instead.

(As Murphy's Law would have it, I could see their daughter perfectly the whole time on stage, and they could probably see Anakin the whole time. I am sooooo glad we got the photopass!! Sorry for making you feel uncomfortable while waiting for Jedi Training. It was interesting to meet you and talk to you since there seem to be a lot of similarities between Anakin and my daughter. When I saw your family come in after us, Anakin looked familiar from reading this report, but I wasn't 100% sure so I hesitated to say anything for a bit. I'm glad he had fun with the Jedi Training. Grace did, too. Even though she was hesitant on the stage, she's been re-enacting it ever since. She loved seeing the photos you posted here, too.

Once I get organized and have a chance to sort through my photos, I'll let you know since I did get some photos of Anakin. We just got home this afternoon after two weeks in Disney; school starts on Tuesday; Grace sees her developmental pediatricion on Thursday and I need to get in touch with her neurologist to get the results of her 24 hr video EEG and go back to work so it may take me a couple of weeks to sort through my photos.

It's very unusual for customer service to be that lacking at WDW.

Sorry for making you feel uncomfortable while waiting for Jedi Training. It was interesting to meet you and talk to you since there seem to be a lot of similarities between Anakin and my daughter. It was great meeting you! I will have so many pictures for you once I get the photopass cd. I also took a bunch of Grace during the show, I just didn't know how you felt about having me post them, so I didn't. I still have your email, and will get those pics to you.

Anakin said it was a bit unnerving getting up there.

I hope you hear all good results from her 24 hr EEG. How did she do without seizure meds the whole time at Disney? It was super hot that weekend we met you. It was a bit less humid and cooler this weekend. 90 degrees as opposed to 96. He did much better this weekend!

Thanks! I was thinking that this is the only family picture we have since Dec 2004. Anakin was an infant then. I was hoping that Grumpy would go with us this weekend to a park and get more pics of all of us, but that didn't happen. Oh well, I will take what I can!! And I like that one!

The Fairy M&G is inside the building at the Adventureland Terrace. This is a new location.

After a rest, we were hungry, but not starved. We wanted a snack. So we headed to the Pepper Market. All of us except Grumpy. He wanted to take a longer nap. So we set off without him, a camera in my hand and another camera in Anakin's. My pics are downloaded, Anakin's are not. But his are very interesting.
