I told him that! He said, "It's not purple! It's gator colors, orange and blue!!" "I miss them so much, when can we see them?! When can we go to that motel again?"

I'm afraid to remind him you all are coming here, in case it doesn't pan out to get the kids together.

He added, "we can skype, you know. And see them now!"

I don't know the first thing about skype, lol. He sees older brother talking to friends on the computer.

I am surprised at how well he has adjusted to them. He didn't complain about them at all day. Yesterday there were some tears because he couldn't chew gum.


Later in the day, after he got his braces on Thursday, we headed to MK to help him forget about them. The heat and humidity were brutal. At the TTC we got right on the monorail. As soon as we sat down, they announced that they were taking a train off the track and we would be delayed. At first the monorail felt comfortable with airconditioning, but as people began to pack it like sardines, the airflow was blocked. Anakin was overheating. I had a cooler of icepackes. By the time we pulled out of the station, our compartment was packed with people. It made Anakin a bit uneasy. He closed his eyes and tried to ignore everyone. Out of sight, out of mind.

He was asleep til we got off the monorail and remained asleep until after we got through the gate. We asked him where he wanted to go, and he said he was too hot to go anywhere. We went to the Mickey meet and greet. The parade has just ended and people were beginning to head there. After a few minutes in the air conditioning he came to life again, and was his usual bubbly self. He was so excited to see the pictures in the queue.

This time, we heard the rabbit munching carrots. He was so happy to hear it, because we didn't hear that the first time we saw them.

It started to rain when we left the meet and greet. We ducked into the bakery. Enjoyed another icecream cookie sandwich split three ways. Others had the same idea as it rained cats and dogs.

I had remembered reading the Tiki Room was re-opened. Anakin was so worried about the changes made to it. He wasn't sure if he should go or not. So we ended up at the Jungle Cruise first.

He worked up enough nerve to try the Tiki Room.

He wanted to go on Splash Mt so badly, but he was afraid his braces would fall off on the ride. Nothing we said, no reasoning or rationalizing would help him change his mind. He said he will just wait until his braces are off in 6 months.

Next up was Buzz. Just as I took this picture, the attraction stopped.

It was a long wait until they fixed it again. Once again, he squatted and rocked until the ride began to move.

We could see rain clouds moving in. We decided to head home before the skies opened up again. As we were near the train station, I looked back at the castle. The sky reminded me of the opening scene of Kingdom Keepers 2.

We stayed dry all the way to the car!! About half way home, the clouds opened up and it poured and poured!! The streets began to flood. When we got home our pool was filled to the rim! And Grumpy's favorite retention pond was filled up to the drainage pipe!

Once again, Anakin declared it the best day ever!

How did you like the new Tiki show?

He loved his day! I never had braces either, so I really can't relate. DH had braces, and Grumpy is like me with straight teeth. The orthodontist told him he may chew gum, but gave him a long list of foods he can't eat. He was able to chew gum last night for a minute or so. He was thrilled!

I'm glad he is learning to cope too! That Convaid Cruiser has really come in handy for him!

I talked to Crissy last week or the week before? She said she wouldn't be on the internet much. Her sister was in town spending time with her. She was heading back north with her sister til around Labor Day. So she will be gone until she flies back to FL around Labor Day. She was so happy to head back home and see family and friends!

I've been thinking about you guys today, with that storm coming. I'm gonna go stand out on the beach, and blow....that way it stays off the coast!! LOL My biopsy is friday, so if it comes, that may not happen, and I'll have to wait.....again and some more! UG!! I hope other than that you guys are having a good weekend. We're not doing much, laundry today, and I cleaned the pool yesterday. Fun stuff!! I might go meet up with Julie tomorrow and Epcot, just to get out. Gotta call my old guy, see if I can go out and play tomorrow!! HAHA

How did you like the new Tiki show?

I missed your question before. I did like the new Tiki show! I felt that I had severe memory loss, because I thought it was suppose to be the original show? I saw the original a zillion times, but I did NOT remember half of the songs!! Or more!!!

Anakin loved it. He was soooooo happy to have that goddess gone. He DID NOT like her red eyes!!

In this show, he didn't like the thunder and lightning.

They told him it would be a few days to get use to them. So he asked how many is a few. I told him usually 3. So after 3 days he didn't complain!! Today he asked for some wax, because part of the thing on his tooth was rubbing his gum.

Yea, that is funny that we just missed you!! I was there with Julie, she was helping me get my mind off things. We had a Grand Mariner slushie from france....drank that as we walked, and then rode Maelstrom. We got SOAKED on MAELSTROM!!! I never heard of anyone getting wet, let alone soaked by that ride!! We were giggling like little school girls. I needed that!! This thing looks like it's gonna stay off the coast, so we should be ok, you guys checking in, and me with the biopsy. Now if my mother would just go away that quickly!! LOL She's the one stressing me out the most now!! I'll tell you that story in person tho. Oh that's a great turn around time! Though it will probably seem like a very long 3 to 5 days.

Just have to decide what to pack for the guys. They don't have many shorts, so I am doing laundry very often to have shorts available for them. I can get everything packed but their shorts today.

Thanks guys!! Yea, it will seem like a LOOOOONG 3-5 days!! I would like my dr to tell me tho....she's soft spoken, and she gave me the bad news LAST time!! It would be nice for her to deliver good news for once!! I'm prepared either way. Last year with the melanoma, everyone said it was nothing, don't worry, all that crap, so I bought into it. Well....it came back as something, and I was devistated. So this time...bring it on!! HAHA There are a bunch of things I want to do for the rest of the year, and a positive hit will make me rethink them all. Anyways....the blowing seems to have worked a little Tink!! It might be raining on friday, but we shouldn't get anything bad. Chris should be leaving miami in about an hour....so we can be balls of nerves for the next 2 days together!! Which park are you gonna be at Saturday? We might pop over for a small bit saturday evening. who knows!! LOL
