Disney done differently, (BOG dining updates pages 202 and 203)

This was the new offer for a return visit. Didn't book this one, doesn't work for us.

Our room was set up the opposite direction from March.

It was so nice to have a motel room where the shower worked as it should. Loved the choice of settings on the shower head. And best of all, the drain worked perfectly. Which is important for us since I have to give Anakin a bath with the drain open in case he has a seizure.

Thanks!! We did not get to Universal, but we did get to Sea World. Would you believe they did not have Sea World pamphlets at Sea World, but they did have Discovery Cove. So I picked up 3 for you. Of course, I have the Disney ones too.

I dream of staying at DLR sometime in one of Disney's resorts. 1981 was my one and only trip there. We stayed at the Best Western across the street.

I love the DLH it is nostalgic and all. We had one of the newly remodeled rooms which was exciting on our last trip.

Out of curiosity are there Mickey Mouse heads in the background on the white bedspreads?

Casitas 5 is elevated. There are plenty of places to exit the building, but the majority of the exits are stairs. People who can't use steps had a good distance to go to find a ramp. We had to remind Anakin frequently that there was a drop. There is nothing to block the edge of the cement to prevent a fall, no guardrails. This was the only down side to staying in this building for us.

There are on the runners and the pillows, but I don't recall seeing them on the white comforter.

The only thing it's missing is a balcony or patio!!

There is only ONE hammock by the Casitas and it is the one you can sort of see in your pic (unless they added an additional once since hte last time we were there).

There were 2 in March and 2 again now. Guess they added one!!

After we unpacked, we headed to the Pepper Market for lunch. Grumpy and I shared a chicken quesadilla. It was very good! Anakin got a kid's pizza and he wasted it. He didn't like the taste at all. It had too much oregano and basil in it. Our server was great.

We went to Epcot to get Grumpy an annual pass. I had purchased it from AAA before we left. It was much cheaper doing it that way! They had a special they were running that expires Sept 1. $363 plus taxes. We traded in the AP gift card for the AP and headed to the Living Seas. On the way there we stopped for photopass pics. They turned out really good! I can't wait to finish editing all the pics so I can get the CD I pre-purchased. (If anyone knows how to change the size of the pics from 4x6 to larger, please let me know how. I thought it would be during edit, but I'm not finding it there.)

I didn't take any pics while at Epcot. We just did that one attraction and headed back to CSR to meet up with Goofy and some friends for dinner at the Pepper Market. I was still full from lunch. I got french fries and strawberries. Anakin got chicken fingers. Goofy got a chicken quesadilla. Grumpy just got gelato.

One of the most annoying thing about the Pepper Market is the wait for someone to wait on you at the food stands. I stood there for 10 minutes for Anakin's Pizza before my presence was acknowledged. Goofy had the same thing at dinner, he stood there a long time before his presence was acknowledged. What really got our goat was that the cm talked and joked with fellow employees, but not a single one of them would look at us and acknowledge we were there.

We weren't the only person this happened to. While I was in line for fries, the cm making food was putting slabs of ribs on the grill. He continued to put rib after rib on the grill. There was a woman ahead of me, and she commented that he has done this to her every time she's come up to order. She said he even waits on people who were there after her. He eventually had the grill filled, took his gloves off, put on new ones without washing his hands and came over to take our order. She ordered a burger. I ordered fries. He got my fries before he put her burger on the grill. She said, "see what I mean?" I wished her luck and headed back to the table.

After dinner, I spotted this display case that I thought was so cute.

Anakin wants that Mexican Duffy outfit for his Duffy!

The stores had Halloween items already.
