Loved the pics! I showed the souvenir mugs to DH and he almost flipped. He said that he was definitely getting one.

Love that Anakin got to meet a lot of characters and had some great interactions!

I know I wanted to say more, but my mind is totally scattered right now with last minute stuff. Not to mention, I didn't sleep last night ... so I'm exhausted and we leave in about 5 hours. lol

Will try to follow your TR from my phone. When do you arrive for Pop? I have completely forgotten.

Looks like he was able to meet quite a few characters for being there just a short time. That's awesome that the Stormtrooper stopped to pose with Anaking. That R2D2 cup is too cute!

The vest helped a little. The company said he should be able to get an hour or so out of the vest on a humid day. It works by evaporation, so there isn't much evaporation when it's hot and humid.

The ear muffs helped him tremendously. Many things at Disney are loud. He could still hear conversations, so it didn't block it out all the way.

We met up with more characters yesterday! Hoping to post more pics today!

I think the vest helped a little.

I doubt they will sell the buckets and cups throughout the week. I would expect to only see them on the weekend during the event. Hopefully, I will be wrong and more people will have the opportunity to purchase them!

He rebounded quickly after the seizure. I think it affected him less than it affected me and my husband.

We went back yesterday and got to see even more characters! I hope to post pics some time today or tonight.

We did not make it to the parade yesterday. It was over 90 degrees and they were lined up well over an hour in advance. We went to the merchandise tent and visited the characters there. Made more sense to be in the air conditioning.

It was even hot in the tent. There were vendors selling R2D2 buckets and drinks to shoppers in the tent.

It was alot of fun! I'm sure Luke is going to love it! The vest only helped a little.

My recommendation for Luke and the characters would be that the Clone Wars characters would be his best bet.They rotate every 10 to 15 minutes and it was a continuous cycle of characters! We didn't see anyone turned away, like we were turned away from the Ewok, which brought on a fountain of tears and heartbreak.

I think the Clone Wars characters alternated between Asoka, Capt Rex, Cody and Ventress. So if it was your turn and you already saw the character there, you could let others in front of you until the new one came out. They had their act together really good at this location!

Anakin is feeling great! He was a bit tired on Thursday and Friday morning we could tell he wasn't quite himself. But by evening he was his old self! Yesterday, there was no indication that anything had happened.

I hope you have a safe trip to FL, and that the kids are totally surprised and love the surprise! I'm sure you will enjoy CSR!! Talk to you soon!

We forgot the vest in the car yesterday. So we used frozen waters and frozen juice boxes that I had packed in a cooler bag. He used the ear muffs at the Clone Wars show when they showed clips on the screen. That was the only time he asked for them. Today we went to see Pirates at the movie theater, and he didn't ask for them at all.

We all loved the movie. I think it was the best POTC movie yet!! He sat memorized through the whole movie. When it was over, he said, "is that it?" He could have sat through more! It sure didn't feel like 2 hours! We arrived after the previews started. We were going to see a later showing, but got there and found out the later show was 3D, thought 3D would be too much. So saw a show already in progress. Thankfully previews are shown for a long time. We got there at the last preview. Found 4 seats together too!

I'm interested to hear how the dinner thing at the movies is!

LOVED IT!! but then I love anything with Johnny Depp in it did you stay until after the credits??? they show a possible start for POTC 5!!

We saw the regular one too. No!! We did not stay for credits! What a bummer we missed it! But we were discussing how they could easily make a #5.

We went swimming last evening. Anakin was in the pool and out of the blue, he said, "Elizabeth Swan and Will Turner were missing." We asked him where they were, and he said, "she's on an island and he is under the sea." Great memory. Did the teaser include them?

Saturday was super hot at SSW. It was in the 90's and very humid. Sweat kept dripping into my eyes and burning them.

We arrived at DHS around noon. People were lined through out the streets for the 12:40 parade. We knew there was no way we could have Anakin out in this heat for that long. We headed to Jabba's Hut to see Luke and Princess Leia. We weren't sure if they would be there through the parade or if they would leave to be in the parade. We asked the cm before we got in line, but she did not know. We figured the tent in air conditioned. If they leave at lease we are out of the sun and will be one of the first to see them when they come back.

The line was long to see them. I took plenty of pics as we moved along in line, of the merchandise. We were surprised to see vendors walking around the store. Popcorn in those great R2D2 buckets were being sold as was soda and water. We had never seen this in a store at Disney before! I had to take pics. The vendors were great sports and so friendly!
