Just wondering if I can purchase disney dollars directly through disney? I am not near disney store and thought they would make good Christmas presents. Can they be used anywhere in disney? Restaurants as well?

Yes you can just call down to Disney and speak with guest services they will do a CC order for the amount you would like plus the shipping and send them to you.
