Can you get Disney Dollars when you get to the park?? If so where??
I planned on getting them before we leave at the Disney Store, but I am not going to be able to.

:bounce: We'll be there in 13 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

If I remember correctly, you can get them at any of the guest services counters at the parks.

Yes, you can buy them at any Guest Relations location, or smaller amounts at any WDW resort front desk.

Disney Dollars are "dollars" 'printed' by Disney which have no expiration, and are useable at face value ( 1:1 ) to US$. They are basically 'gift certificates'...or 'loans' made to Disney until redemption.

They are an excellent way (IMHO) to 'save' for a Disney vacation, as you can buy they at your local Disney Store (like each week) to save for a visit. They are useable for rooms, food, dinners, gifts -- anything you might buy while at WDW or DL. :)

Thanks - So they don't represent any discount? They are just for the amusement factor of using Disney money instead of US currency?

Yep. :earsboy: My girls think they're pretty neat.
My daughter will like them too. How old is your daughter?

Mine is 45 and is the number one Disney fan in the whold world.

I buy Disney dollars for my son for Christmas, Easter, his birthday, etc. This way he is kind of "forced" to save up for our trips. Plus, he really thinks twice about what he really wants since it is his own money he's spending.

What is a Disney Dollar?

Sort of a coupon??

A Disney Dollar is cash used in the "World". You can get them at the Disney Store or at Disney World/land, etc... they come in 1, 5, and 10's. There have been talks and mentions of a 50.00 but that is only at the park.

So if you have a 10.00 and you buy something that is like 8.00, they will give you actually money back. You can at the end of your trip (or I guess any time really) trade in your Disney Dollars for cash. I do have 1.00 Disney Dollar from our first time in April on our Disneymoon that I still Keep.
