You can! They sell them inside The Emporium on main street (first shop on your left entering the park). They also sell them in World of Disney in DTD. I'd imagine you can get them somewhere in DCA but I've never tried.

Just remember that if they are lost (and it was at 8 or 9 that I lost my whole wallet, sniffle, just at thes tore) they can't be gotten back. So if she'll be carrying them, help her be careful!


I bought some at Greetings from California, but really had to insist that they look for them. They kept them under the cash register's money-holder-thing (inside the register), and for some reason it was a huge deal for them to drag them out. So much of a deal that by the time I got them and went back to buy my Mickey bar, the outdoor carts were all closed.

Yea, I'm not giving her that much, just $25, but I'll be sure to keep an eye to make sure she does not lose them. I bought us all lanyards with the ticket holder/money pouch things, so it has a little zippered coin purse on them, and I will more than likely end up carrying them anyway when she gets tired of wearing it, lol.

I get my Disney Dollars at City Hall on Main Street and yes the dollars you have you can use anywhere in Disneyland even at cart vendors.

We got ours at City hall too. One plus is if you need to get $ out and don't want to pay the ATM fee, You can get Disney Dollars at City Hall and it is free to withdrawl $ from your checking/savings/visa card.

I go into the Disney store each time I am at the mall and buy Disney Dollars. $20-$40 at a time and it really adds up. Last year we had close to $400 just by doing that for 4 months. I have already started for our trip in May and have a nice sum already. It makes it fun while waiting for our trip.

Usually we put Disney dollars in the Easter Eggs, Valentines cards, birthday cards...anywhere we can!

Isnt it a great way to save for your trip? We add our change to it. It can add up to hundreds of dollar in a few months!

Disney dollars are a good way for me to save. They do not take them at any other store. So I cant take out 20 and goto McDonald's or whatever.

That's a great idea. We don't get to the mall much though. Maybe once every two or three months, unfortunately.

we ask relatives at xmas and birthdays for the 3 kids to give them disney dollars. they always send a little with a gift and this past xmas my 6 year old got $270 total! she had fun spending her money on a 5 day New Years eve trip! It is a great way to get the kids to spend ther own $ for all the little things they want in the park all the time.

in a way yes. Because they cant be given back so we tend to just drop it into our fund bags so it doesnt clog the register. FYI, the bills sometimes dont fit and they are often folded in half for it to fit in the register... Half means more space...

hahah, money is money though... so dont mind my silly rant.
