Disney Dollars?

Hey guys! I want to get each of my kids $100 in Disney Dollars. Is the only place I can get them at the Disney Store, or do other stores carry them?

I'm not sure who else sells them but you may want to consider getting them in denominations of $10 or $20 because I think if they were to buy something in one of the stores and their total came to $60 I don't think they would get any change back because it isn't cash. Not sure but I think that's how it works.

Whenever I have bought them they are only available in denominations of $1, $5 or $10. I just got $30 myself at the Riverside Tyler Mall (Hi BelleM77! ). And when you spend them at the parks, they will give you change in cash if it is under $5. That has been my experience anyway. They are a great way to avoid spending too much $$ on your trip. i know there is but being a ODV vendor, i have only seen the $20 once or twice. They are usually the 50th aniversery $20. Currently the "when dream comes true" disney dollar only comes in $1, $5, $10. Each with a different princess.

You're right. Once again my addled brain has gotten the best of me today. It was the $10 denominations I got.

I'm so excited! Can you buy these and the princess dollars at the Disney Store or just in the park? The third installment of the pirate dollars will be coming out after our trip.

I think it's so funny that most people buy Disney Dollars to buy souveniers with (and we will too) but I also think that they make great souveniers by themselves. A disney princess dollar would excite my four year old plenty!

They are getting harder to find in the parks. I know for sure that you can buy them at the Emporium on Main Street. I have bought them at the Princess store in Fantasyland before, but that was a year or two ago, so I am not sure if they still sell them there. I would think that World of Disney sells them.

we bought them this month at the Disneyland hotel in one of the shops, the lady was very nice and made sure not to give my son princess dollars!

I alway buy them at the Disneyana store on Main Street. They are at the back register near the artwork.

Yeah you can buy them in the park. Thats where I got mine. I got mine from City Hall, but I believe that you can get them from the main bank in disneyland too.

We've used Disney Dollars for years and they are such great ideas in so many ways. It is a great way to control spending especially when our daughter wanted everything. Having her own dollars that she could manage saved us a bundle!
