Disney Dollars???

Does anyone know if disney dollars are available at The Disney Store? I was hoping to use them as behavioral incentives for my children for our upcoming trip.

Hmm, I dont know.....but that is really good idea though!!! If not, maybe you could make your own disney dollars on the computer and convert them to real dollars in the park.

Yes Dsney Dollars are available at the Disney Store. I just bought a whole bunch.

Yes, they are available through your Disney Store. I just bought a bunch on Friday. I was told you could buy something like a maximum of $2000 in Disney Dollars...but you could also special order if you needed more. Boy would I like to waltz in and buy $2000 in Disney Dollars. It sounds like a great incentive.

Anyone know where to call to order them. I was given the number 1-407-363-6200 on an different thread. When I called that number, they said that I couldn't order get the Disney Dollars from them. ?? The nearest Disney store is an hour away, and it's just not worth the time or gas to drive to get some.

WOW ours will only let you get $500 at a time and with the amount I need to give as a gift to my sister and what I need for our tip that is prolly too few.

I think the amount you can buy depends on what they have on hand at the time. When I last bought them (last year actually) they were coming out with a brand new design, and only had a limited amount of the existing ones in the stores. Maybe that's changed though.

The manager told me that they were available to order online, too. I've never tried it personally, though. Our local Disney Store closed over a year ago, and last week was the first time I was in a mall with the store. It felt so wonderful to enter that store again!!!! I miss having a Disney Store close by.

500 per day is the maximum that can be purchased at any store. The only exception is that you may purchase 100 times the number of park passes you are purchasing. EX:buy 7 park passes, you may purchase 700 in Disney Dollars.

Locally the have them in denominations of $1, $5 & $10 not sure if there are larger denominations available in other locations, but those work for us!

I also called that phone # posted on another thread & was told that the Disney Dollars could not be ordered over the phone but I was given the address to order them from. You have to send a money order in the amt of dollars that you want plus $10(if I remember right!) for the shipping & handling fees. They also said that it could take 2 weeks or more for the order to be processed once rec'd!! It sounded a little too iffy for me, so I used that as an excuse to drive 2 hours to go shopping at a mall with the Disney Store!!

I know how you feel. The Disney Store at the Mall an hour from here closed down a few years ago. Now, we have to go to a mall several hours away to go to a Disney Store!!!

I think we'll be taking a trip to the Disney store an hour away to buy the Disney dollars. Spring break is a couple of weeks away. Maybe DD and I could take a little road trip then!

Yes they are. The easter bunny was very happy to find this out this year!

Disney Dollars are available and make great gifts. We had all of our Family Members give them to DS5 for his birthday, which was two weeks before our vacation. He loved having his own money to spend.

I think giving them as Easter Gifts is an excellent idea, too bad that our Spring Break vacation is the week before Easter. Think the Easter Bunny can come early?

Disney dollars as behavioral incentive is a wonderful idea. I'll have to tell my daughter. She has three very active sons.

DD9 had $100 total - $50 in Disney Dollars (earned money + birthday) I made her buy everything with her own money - I'd buy her one or two snacks, and she could bring snacks, other than that, it was her money (ie candy) same with any of the "toys" she'd see - her money... It was wonderful, she really thoughtt things thru!!

I am buying Disney Dollars to pay for a few things - its a great savings incentive for us...
