Disney Dollars VS Disney gift cards

Ok so I see that disney dollars are not being issued til may but can gift cards be used in leiu of disney dollars, might be more convient

I don't think you can use the gift cards at DW, only Disney Dollars.

What do you mean not issued until May? I get them at my local Disney Stores every pay day.

I also believe that gift cards can be purchased only for Disney Merchandise in-store. As a matter-of-fact, I was told that Disney giftcards cannot be redeemed for Disney Dollars.

Disney gift cards? Do you mean Disney STORE gift cards? I doubt they would be good at WDW....I'm curious to know more.

Disney Gift Cards are only good in the store. We asked a while back.
Disney Dollars are still in some stores but not all from what I have heard. They are using up old stock before getting the new ones. So some stores are out of old and have not gotten the new ones yet.
