Disney Dollars using MyPoints

Can I use MyPoints to earn Disney Dollars?? I have read on here about people getting Disney Dollars and I was wondering how. Thanks!!

You can convert them to Webcertificates and then turn them into Disney Dollars. I bought the plastic card but I bought a computer and got tons of points so it was worth it to me to pay the 7.95 to get the card. But other people report that you just print out the webcertificate number and use that number (it's a credit card number) and turn it into DD at your local Disney Store. I hope that this is clear for you.

sharbear: Can you explain what you mean when you said "it was worth it to me to pay the 7.95 to get the card"? I have some points in MYPOINTS that I want to redeem. IF i say I wanted a webcertificate, how then do I turn that into Disneydollars? Do you know if the webcertificate can be used on the the online disney store (disneystore.com)??

If anyone else has experience with cashing out mypoints - do they email you a code or something? Thanks, this is the first time I'm able to have enough points to redeem (thanks to the 1000 super Max I got) and don't know what to expect. Kinda new to rewards. thanks

Ive done this 5 times and never had a problem!!! Mypoints will send you a confirmation email when and how to get the account set up at webcertificates. Just follow the directions there real easy to follow (IF I can get the acccount set up any one for sure can Im terrible with computers )

when you get the account set up and the money is there to use
print out the page from webcertificates it will have information like a mastercard your name address acount # and expiration date just take this sheet to the DS and ask them to run the # through the register manually since you wont have the plastic card they cant swipe it .

that all there is to it once a had a CM ask for ID but that was about it.

It takes so long to get enough points just to cashout that as long as you get $DD this way its much cheaper. (no $7.95 fee!! If you have any ? or problems feel free to write.

were is the disney store close to milwaukee?

I live in Fox Lake , IL close to the IL/WI border and was just curious. We sometimes go to Milwaukee and we love TDS.

dunningdisney, I live in Lake County, IL (Wauconda) and I go to Disney store at Hawthorne Mall in Vernon Hills (now Westfield mall). Here is the link to the mall site which will hopefully give you directions and what other stores are there. Disney store is on 1st floor. It is on Milwaukee and Rte 60.

There is also one in Brookfield, WI. Not sure how close that is to Milwaukee.

THere are actually 3 Disney stores in the Milwaukee area:

ithastobe is right about the one in Brookfield thats about 25 minutes from Milwaukee where I live
another one is at Southridge mall this one is only about 10 minutes from me (I worked as a CM for the Holiday season when they first opened they wanted to keep me on afterwards but I also worked another job at nite and all that was left was 2-6 shift nice hours but it wouldn't work out darn it was fun!!! )

The third store is at Mayfair Mall about 25 minutes from me
this one is actally in Wauwautosa a surburb of Milwaukee

IT fun to have 3 stores to go to each one has just a slightly diferent feel to it!!!!
