Disney Dollars? Sorry, new here and could not find my answer!

Hey guys~

I searched disney dollars on here trying to ask a repeated ? but the threads were all pretty dated.
Can I buy the DD in the park and if we buy too many are we stuck with them at the end of the trip? ( not a disney store anywhere near us! )

The only place i know where to buy them is from the disney store. I dont think they are sold in the parks. i dont think you can trade for real money.

there should be other poster if i am miss quoting anything.

I'm not sure where you could get Disney Dollars in Disney World I would guess the World of Disney Store if nothing else. You can return them for cash at the end of your trip, I believe at any DW retail location, but do call to check. As a matter of fact the Disney cashiers give real money in change for Disney Dollars. You can use them like real money in the World. Even for paying off your hotel bill if you want.

I found this from relatively recent previous posts and some other sites a while back when I was looking for the same thing...

"You can purchase Disney Dollars at:
Downtown Disney Guest Services, Disney Resort Guest Services, Theme Parks and Disney Stores. Please call ahead to be certain your Disney Store has them in stock.

Although it is not possible to buy Disney Dollars online or by phone, they may be ordered by writing:
Walt Disney World Ticketing Fulfillment
Post Office Box 10140
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

Please indicate the number of each denomination desired, and include a money order made payable to: Walt Disney World Company

Include with the total amount $10 for express delivery (5 to 7 business days; not available for orders overseas). Please note a maximum $650 limit on each Disney Dollar order."


I got a bunch and am using them with my son with a little "good behavior incentive program"!
