My wife, my daughter and I will be visiting WDW in April from the UK.
During planning of our vacation we read about Disney Dollars and thought they were a great idea. Because they are difficult to get hold of in the UK I have 'made' some facsimiles*. These haven't come out out too bad (see scaled down images below) - and - when they are printed in double sided in color and trimmed up they look quite good.
Note: Although the facsimiles are attractive and are good for scrapping and what I am planning (see below) it is patently obvious that they are not the real thing - no-one who saw them would think this.
The plan I have goes like this:
- My daughter is collecting the Facsimilie Disney Dollars in the lead up to our vacation for doing chores etc.
- When we get to the parks we will have a count up and buy the same amount real Disney Dollars for her to have as spending money
The thing is - I have read that Disney are phasing out Disney Dollars and we are worried we will not be able to buy them when we get to the WDW - Easter 2011.
Does anybody know if we will be OK to get them at the parks as we have planned?
