DISNEY DOLLARS - How do they work again?

Hello all! I forget... I know I can get Disney Dollars dollar for dollar at the Disney Store. I think it's a great way to put money away for my trip 'cause I won't be able to spend Disney Dollars anywhere else! Anyway... do you know if you can exchange them for cash back at the Disney Store? Can I turn them in there for American Dollars if I have leftovers? THANKS!

Yes, you can "return" Disney Dollars at your local TDS, but remember to hang on to your receipt. You must have the receipt in order to get your money back. Hope this helps?

Remember if your leftover disney dollars can be used to pay your resort bill if you're staying onsite.

I think Disney Dollars are cute, and they may help you save money by being usable only at Disney. But they are no safer to carry around than a wad of real dollars! Handle them carefully - just as you would cash.
