Disney dollars discontinued???

So, disney dollars are still available for sale, but not every Disney store has them?

Now, I have a Disney store gift card someone gave me about a month or two ago- it's red with Mickey on it, but it is a perfect rectangle. Is this one good in WDW, or just stores? It doesn't mention anything about WDW on the card either way.

Some stores sell out of the Disney Dollars faster than others. This should be the only reason they don't have them when you ask for them. The entire chain should be following the same policies and procedures.

As far as your red card goes, it sounds like it's the old one, the Only-Good-In-The-Disney-Store card. The new cards have one of Mickey's ears making it not a perfect rectangle. There may be some verbage on the back of the card, or you can call the store to double check.

A friend of mine just purchased them online through the Disney website. She had to send a money order first and then they sent them to her through the mail. This was to Canada too!

Thanks for all the updates. I did find a Disney store that does still carry them but it it a little bit of a drive. Thanks for letting me know about buying them online, I never thought of that.
