Disney Dollars are IN!

In another thread a couple of weeks ago, it was reported that they have issued $50 bills as well. Can anyone confirm this?

There's 2 series for this issue of course we all know now the the 1st one was already issued yesterday. The $50 Mickey is the more collectable series which will come out next year, if I remember it correctly it will be a N.Rockwell series.

Does anyone know if you can buy these online somewhere? I want to get some and give them to my sisters for our upcoming trip, but we don't have a Disney Store near us

When is your trip? You can order them through the mail from Disney (unless they stopped that) by calling them up (the number is around these boards somewhere), buy them at the parks, or ask another DISer to get them for you.

Bought some today at Valley View Mall! I just bought two $10. Stitch is on the front and the DL castle is on the back with something about "Happiest Celebration on Earth". Very cool - I am so glad I can start buying them again to set aside for the trip!!

I buy it little by little for spending money on my trip. If i is Disney money I can't spend it beforehand on other things.

Exactly - I'm buying it up because I know I can't spend it until I get down there, and now I've got confirmation that I can turn it back into cash once I'm there (at Guest Services.)

Even if I couldn't, though, I go to Disney every year, so I could just hold on to it

However, thanks to the little Holiday Inn glitch, my SIL, MIL, DS and BIL are all coming down to Disney along with my DH and I (we're not at the HI ) so we might have to spend a little bit of that money on dinner for them, but, oh well.

I bought mine last night--

our local store only received 1000 and only received new the new 10. The 1 and 5 were old ones but crisp!! There was a limit of 250 a person--I got what I needed for my trip--my daughter and I both went and we maxed the limit!!

Thanks, been asking every week when we go to the mall. Nothing, did not even know when they were arriving. I knew they were suppose to arrive this week, but kept checking anyway. Would you believe TDS did not know they were coming this week, yet we on the DIS knew. Talk about being out of the loop.

Solomon Pond Mall has 5s and 10s - no 1s, 20s or 50s
