Disney Dollar Question

Can they be used to purchase park passes? What about for merchandise in the parks or at the restaurants in the parks?

I'm sorry to disagree but unless they have changed the rules you CAN buy park tickets with them.....I did it in 2000.

Definately not on park tickets. I can't comment on 2000 but thesedays there is no way...as far as I know

Hi there-

You can definately use Disney Dollars to purchase park tickets. Used them this spring to buy my first annual pass!

I didn't think there was anything in the parks you couldn't use your Disney Dollars on, including park passes. Maybe not UPH because I don't thing they are sold in the parks, they are part of your package, but I bet they would accept them when checking in at your on-site hotel. Im pretty sure they can be used for park hoppers, park hopper pluses, single day tickets- the tickets sold at the parks and at the Disney Stores. (By the way, single day can only be purchased at the park, you can buy the others at the stores). Disney Dollars are cash and should be used as such. I use Disney Dollars a lot, that is how we save for a portion of our trip!

They use to be good for anything...including your hotel bill! It was the same as cash..... I think it is still that way.....No you shouldn't send them thru the mail to prepay anything or pay your Disney Credit Card, but you can use them in person to purchase tickets & hotel rooms....unless they have recently changed their policy.
