Can Disney dollars be used on the Disney cruise ships and on Castaway Cay?

Yes, but only to pay off items charged to your room. You can go to Guest Services and pay off room charges using DD. Cash is not accepted on board the ship. All items must be charged to your room.

Well, at least, when I last cruised on the "Disney Magic," Disney dollars could be used as tips. Of course, using them as tips, means extra work for the person receiving them, as they have to be changed into something else. I hope this information helps. And enjoy!

All purchases on the ship and at Castaway Cay are charged to you KTTW card. You can 'settle' that account with Disney Dollars.
