Disney Direct and changing person, Possible.

Now I am in the process of planning a 10 day holiday to Disney Direct, Now I think myself, husband and Daughter should have no problem getting time off work/school but my son (18) is unsure he will beable to get time off work or college (1 week as other week falls in half term), If he cant go which he says he would be ok with, how is Disney direct about changing a person as we could take someone else with us? Any advice would be great.

If you do room/room and ticket only, you will pay the £50 amendment fee. If you book flight inclusive, you're screwed

What I would do though is email them and ask so that you have it in writing. Then if you ever need to change you have something to fall back on to make them honor the request for change. You never know if their policy and terms will change a year from now.

Thanks, i think it all should be ok but the price i am getting at the moment is too good to pass up its a flights and hotel booking, (Hope to book tomarrow evening). Luckly my husband works at the college my son goes to and can talk to the exams officer tomarrow to make sure none is then. As for his work he cant find out until the weekend

Well if you book to get the deal and change your dates, there is only an amendment charge if you reduce the cost of your holiday. What I did last year was to book the dates I thought would work, less a day (knowing I would probably change dates but could then add the day I wanted anyway to avoid the amendment fee). When the flights came out I did have to change and ended up adding 3 days and it cost me nothing. But it meant I got the free dining and gift card, and the deal was over by the time I changed the dates if I recall correctly, but I still got to keep the deal

Hi I've sent an email this morning for advice, I am asking for the 2 weeks off today and so is hubby, fingers crossed all will be ok.
