Disney dinning plan ?

Hi, my name is Belinda i'm new at this, i was just wondering what kind of places for counter service meals that we can eat at? can we eat at liberty tree at Magic Kingdom for a counter service meal or are they just like McDonalds ?

Liberty Tavern is a Table Service place. Counter Service places are more Like A McDonalds as far walking up tho the counter, Ordering, getting your foods & finding a place to sit.

Places I have used counter service credits in MK:

Cosmic Rays
El Pirata y Perrico
Pecos Bill
Tomorrowland Terrace Noddle Station
Columbia Harbor House

99% certain you use CS at:
Pinocchio Village Haus
Casey's Corner

Oddly enough, I've never used snack credits here. I've always paid OOP for my Pineapple Dole Whips!

As mentioned, Liberty Tree Tavern is a sit down restaurant. You could use your sit down meal entitlements there if you are on the DDP or Dlx DDP.
But counter service is a walk up, order, pick up your food and sit down restaurant.
There are many good counter service places to eat at WDW. Normally they are not as good as sit down meals, of course. But still good all the same with a lot of varieties offered.
Cosmic Ray's alone has three separate bay areas that offer different options -- from veggie sandwiches to a ribs and chicken combo. And they have a fixin's bar with a lot of toppings to choose from.

The only Table Service Credit meals in Magic Kingdom are Liberty Tree Tavern, The Plaza and Crystal Palace. All other eateries in MK are considered Counter Service Meals on the Dising Dining Plan.

Table Service Restaurants at Disney Hollywood Studios are: Hollywood Brown Derby, Mama Melrose's, 50's Primetime Cafe, Sci-Fi Drive In and Hollywood & Vine. All others are Counter Service

Table Service Restaurants at Animal Kingdom are: Tusker House, Yak & Yeti and Rain Forest Cafe (which is NOT on the Disney Dining Plan). All others are Counter Service.

Table Service Restaurants at Epcot are: Coral Reef, Akershus, Chefs De France, Le Cellier, Nine Dragons, Marrakesh, Rose & Crown, San Angel Inn, Teppan Edo, Tutto Italia and Biergarten. All others are Counter Service.

You missed CRT at MK, but it's a 2TS credit meal.

For your table service meals, you will want to make your reservations 180 days out.

We are going on july 9, 2011 and my 180 day mark is like January 10..... i've marked my calendar!!! i will be taking off work that morning and will be on the phone making our ressies!!

all TS's are indoors A/C'd ---
some Counter SERvices are outside - some are in -
dont' know when you are going, but when we pre-plan our counter service meals, we try to go to those that are INSIDE..... just a thought

hey

if you have any questions re dining, i find that just asking someone in line on rides can give valuable information. We try to be organised re dining but there are times when you just want an up to date opinion or info whilst in the park. We tend to look for large families with matching disney t shirts...as the mum with them is 99% a disney expert.

plan, but also take the time to sometimes wing it......thats when the magic happens
