We used it on our January trip. My parents went with us and we tend to eat at more sit down restaurants when they are with us. We used it for Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Afternoon Tea, Fantasmic Dinner Pkg. and Le Cellier. We were in 7 ppl and it saved us quite a bit of money.

We are going again in November and will probably use it for 1-2 more meals. It was a very good value for us.::yes::

Dumb question, but how long is it good for? Is it one year from when you order it or when you use it first or what?

Thanks!

One year from when you order it but there is some mailing time added. I ordered mine 1/24/05 and it is good until 3/31/06. I got an e-mail confirmation to use on my trip next week in case I don't get the card in time.

Im planning on getting it for DS13 and myself
We'll be in WDW in Aug for 2wks
planning on at least 1 PS per day

Hi there,

We will have a great time with this. As a group 10 coming in Oct 05 for 17 nights and then a further 14 nights, just the three of us, in Aug 06 we should save quite a bit of cash.

I ordered my card right after the new year and got my email conformation right away (and had NO trouble using it). I called yesterday because I STILL have not gotten my cards so they sent me another email and added two more months of usage to my card, because it supposed to be expire a year from when you GET your card.

If you are going on a trip and want to try to make it last as long as possible, wait until a few days before going, call and order the card and they will fax or email you a letter that you can use. Then your card will be good a year and a month or so from the date you order it.

Question for you about your e-mail confirmation-are we all supposed to get one? I ordered mine 2/17, where they supposed to send me an e-mail? Or is that only if I requested one? Not leaving until 4/17, but if I was supposed to get an e-mail, should I call them?

Just returned from a 7 night stay at VWL. We purchased the Disney Dining discount and used it every night. We saved $20 per meal times seven nights equals $140. It is definitely worth getting!

That should be enough time to actually receive your cards. If you are at all like me (tend to be nervous about such things, LOL), you'll call back and ask if it's enough time. Assume they gave you a confirmation number at least. IMHO, it wouldn't hurt to have an email confirmation just in case the cards don't arrive in time.

Best wishes -

When I ordered mine on 1/26, the cm asked when my next trip was. I said 3/2, she said I better send you an e-mail confirmation then. If you don't have the card by the end of March, I would call and ask for an e-mail.

For the entire year the DDE card is valid?

I plan on ordering DDE for our May/June trip. My AP will expire at the end of our trip. My DDE will still be valid until next spring 2006.
We are returning to WDW in Sept for the Member Cruise but won't activate my AP vouchers until 2006. Can I use the DDE if my AP expired? Do you need to show your AP when you use DDE?
