anyone have the 1-800 number for resses for dinning? my computor crashed and i lost my bookmark to it.:surfweb:
thanks

Someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I though it was 1-800-WDW-DINE.

Disney just canceled the 800 Number. The 877 number is still valid but understand that with more and more people using it this will also be canceled.
Guess we have to keep some of the numbers to ourselves. What a shame. Disney is extremely expensive now and they haggle over a toll free number for guests.

I have been going to WDW since it opened at least 4 to 5 times a year and I never can recall the pettiness they have developed now.

I too find it difficult to believe that Disney is canceling their toll free numbers. I found it shocking back in 2004 when we first went that we were paying to call them to pay them for a vacation. That's unusual.

I only use the toll free number from work, from home I have unlimited long distance, and use the 407 number, in hopes that it keeps the 877 number open longer for those who need it. (that is they are paying for each call)

i saw a program (don't ask me which one cause i really do not remember) that stated the reason disney did not have many toll free numbers was becasue of the calls they had been getting. they said it would not be unusual for someone to call to get the names of the seven dwarfs so they could win a bet. they said that they often had calls from people drinking who wanted info on charaters so they could win a game they were playing. they said it was so bad that they could not keep up with the non booking related questions.
just something to keep in mind when we wonder why disney is cutting this service back. i found it interesting.:flower3:

I agree with Disney's stance of no 800#s, just due to the volume of calls they receive, the cost to have the 800#s would be VERY extreme.

More and more people have a method of calling without long distance charges, and like other posters have said, the 800 (877, 888) #s were never meant to be public.

As of July 9th,my phone goes to unlimited Florida calls,so I won't need the toll-free numbers anymore!!

I used this number a few days ago and now it is disconnected.

Hopefully someone will come up with a new number.

Linda

The numbers will continue to be disconnected as we publish and use them because they are not for us to use. I think it's unfortunate that there is no # for the general public. Unfortunately - It's their game, their rules.
