Hi there everyone!! I'm new at this board so please don't yell at me if I'm doing this wrong

I'm in desperate need of your help....

My boyfriend and I will be traveling to Disney from December 25-30. Being that this is a very busy time of year, esp at Disney, I was told that it would be wise to make dinner reservations for every night if I want to have a sit down meal. Otherwise, I heard that I would most likely be stuck with having counter-service meals for both lunch AND dinner because the reservations will be booked up.

So, in saying that....I could really use some suggestions for places to eat in the parks. We'd like to keep prices down a bit, but we don't mind paying around $28 per person for a nice dinner. I've been looking at the menus on allears.net but its getting a little crazy trying to pick and choose.

We were just in Disney this February, so we'd really like to try some new restaurants. Here are the names of the places we ate at this past trip as well on other Disney trips: Marrakesh (Morocco in Epcot), Cinderellas Castle, Liberty Tree Tavern, Sci Fi Theater (MGM), Polynesian Luau

Here is the plan so far for December's trip:

Monday (Christmas, what to do??) -

Tuesday - Candlelight Processional dinner package - Biergarten

Wednesday - Chef Mickey's breakfast

Thursday - ?

Friday - ?

We don't have a schedule as far as what park we will go to each day. We don't really plan on going Animal Kingdom, so we don't need to work any restaurants there into the plans.

Thanks so much!!!

Here are some dining recommendations.

1. Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. Not as pricey as some other places, relaxed and casual atmosphere, great food and great dessert! We eat dinner here on every trip and it does not disappoint.

2. Le Cellier in Canada at Epcot. I've been wanting to return since our honeymoon in 2000. It was great when we ate there and the reviews since then are also stellar. This one is tough to get, but with only 2 of you, you might have a better chance.

3. If you want one splurge, California Grill at the Contemporay is fantastic. Great view, the food is top notch and you can't beat watching the fireworks from the viewing platform.

Have fun researching.

Hope this helps!!!

Let's see. Places in the parks you haven't tried:

MK- Tony's Town Square is ok. Crystal Palace is a nice buffet, if you are ok with a character meal.

Epcot- Lot's of choices. Le Cellier is nice. I'd also consider Alfredo (Italy) or Chef's de France.

MGM- I'd suggest Mama Melrose. The Brown Derby can be nice, but might go over the $28 guideline you posted. Hollywood & Vine is a good but somewhat standard buffet.

I would suggest Artist Point for Christmas. That would be pricey, but REALLY nice. For good food, wonderful atmosphere, beautifully decorated for a good price, I'd go with Grand Floridian Cafe.

The decorations at WL and GF are worth the trip alone!!!

I'm not real impressed with many park restaurants and I've eaten at most.

MGM-Sci Fi

Epcot-Chefs de France, Rose and Crown
Le Cellier used to be one of our favorites, but I don't even recommend it anymore, service and food has deteriorated terribly.

MK-the castle, Plaza Restaurant
I'm sure Liberty Tree Tavern would have a nice Christmas astmosphere but we thought the food so-so

Don't overlook little hidden gems like Kona Cafe, Olivia's and the Grand Floridian Cafe (which I already mentioned.)
