I'm looking at a trip out to the land in June maybe and I know they don't have a Dining Plan like they do at the World.
I keep coming across this
Get a side order of Disney magic with your meal when you add a Character Dining experience to your package. Once you complete your purchase, remember to make advance reservations so you can enjoy special moments with favorite Disney Characters.*
  1. Character Dining $74.00 USD
Receive one voucher for each person in your travel party** for one breakfast at any of these locations:
Minnie & Friends Breakfast (Plaza Inn, Disneyland Park)
Surf’s Up! Breakfast with Mickey & Friends (Disney’s PCH Grill, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel)
Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Critter Breakfast (Storytellers Café, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa)
+$74.00
Premium Character Dining $94.00 USD
Receive one voucher for each person in your travel party** for one meal at either of these locations:
Goofy’s Kitchen - breakfast or dinner (Disneyland Hotel)
Ariel’s Disney Princess Celebration - breakfast or lunch (Ariel’s Grotto***, Disney California Adventure Park)

Those are just vouchers for one meal correct? What is the Difference between Character and PREMIUM Character Dining?

Thank you

The difference is only in the locations...
Minnie & Friends Breakfast (Plaza Inn, Disneyland Park)
Surf’s Up! Breakfast with Mickey & Friends (Disney’s PCH Grill, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel)
Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Critter Breakfast (Storytellers Café, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa)

The ones listed above are regular character meals because they only offer breakfast.

Goofy’s Kitchen - breakfast or dinner (Disneyland Hotel)
Ariel’s Disney Princess Celebration - breakfast or lunch (Ariel’s Grotto***, Disney California Adventure Park)

These are considered Premium because they have a lunch (for AG) and Dinner (for GK) option.

The price you listed must be for your party. Typically, premium dining vouchers are $44/adult $22/child and regular vouchers are $33/adult and $17/child/

Goofy's and Ariel's are more expensive in general. Even just the breakfast. I think Ariel's is the most expensive. In general you're paying for meeting the princesses. How many in your party? That's a good deal if it's a party of 3 or more.

I am going to just ask, which one is your favorite ... in all my years I have still to have a character meal and I want to add it to our NYE trip... thanks! (sorry for hijacking)

If you have girls, I like Ariel's Grotto for lunch. For breakfast I like Plaza Inn and Surf's Up.

We just did Plaza Inn breakfast a fee weeks agoind it was fantastic. The amount of characters plus interactions ( and it was just two adults) were fabulous. I enjoyed the food too :)

No girls, no kids. LOL. Well my husband (34) and myself (33) are kids at heart.

That's my DH and I too , I got about 25 photos just at breakfast , Tigger bounced with me and helped me pick out a chocolate muffin , Hook photobombed Max , it was just all awesome. I highly recommend doing the first seating - we did it on a Saturday at 7:10am and got tons of interaction .
