Has anyone gone to the Victoria and ALbert for their dining experience? if so how was it...also what about dining in the Castle? how was it and do you recommend either???? DJ princess:

I have never been to V & A, I hear it is good. But we dined in the castle for dinner this past Sept and it was a great treat. We enjoyed the Cindy picture downstairs and the Fairygodmother and mice upstairs. It was more calm and enjoyable meal with just this little bit of entertainment. The breakfast in Sept last year was good as well, but we had our DGD (4) and she was so excited about the princesses. I recommend the dinner at the castle :sunny:

There are several reviews of V&A on the restaurants board. I have been there five times, twice in the regular dining room and three times at the Chef's Table. I am always willing to return. I am even willing to put on real shoes.

I have never been particularly thrilled with the castle. It is a nice location, but crowded and noisy. The food is decent, but nothing to write home about.

well I'm going Solo but booked a table for 2...incase anyone wants to join me...its 6PM on Dec 4th...DJ princess:

It's been a while since V&A; went in 1999 for 1st anniversary. The food was great, the service impeccable and worth every penny. It does help to be a little adventurous in your eating habits though. If you can swing the cost and enjoy eating at fine restaurants then I highly recommend going.

Thanks . I'm planning on going to several fun and interesting dining places...Signed up for the Luau as well as the A&V....other suggestions? I've also Bistro de Paris and L' Originale Alfreado di Roma...and others at MGM I don't remember the names of lolol...DJ princess:

The food at the Castle is nothing to rave about, but the setting is very special. I've been twice with my 2 nieces who absolutely love it. All the princesses and a prince charming or 2 come by your table to visit and for photo ops. It's all about the experience more so than the food. We ate both brunch and lunch there and I can't say I preferred 1 over the other. The food was good, just not the best meal we had, but I'd still go back again. Have fun.
